sometimes the guys who wait ages for a trade to come in compound, These guys get gains of example 100+ pips.for the ones that compound they then magnify it to sums like + 300% if my maths is correct. thats what i do but i play with 40 pips

Of course this is the end. However, if you didn't take profit at the lows and look to get back in short on a bounce, you didn't play it as well as I did.

Are you trying to say that wasn't the end of the bull trend? I'm betting that it was but we'll see.

I'm saying I doubt we go down below 3157 today, unless its much later in the day. My exhaustion indicator is almost never wrong except during FOMC or major news, then it doesn't mean anything.

I see. You mean like selling into a rally and then selling again if it moves up a bit further? Or selling again as it moves down?

I call that averaging in, but I now understand what you mean.

Bull trend? In my opinion there was never a bull trend... just a wicked and long overdue correction which I had been calling for since November 2011
I am glad we got it and I am hoping it is now over. All indications seem to point in that direction but that does not rule out some further attempts to the upside.

ADD: Speaking strictly on a macro level, of course

Everyone is not as long term as you are. It all depends on the time frame (I know you know this ). To me it was a clear bull trend on the daily but then again a bear on weekly/monthly and then again all time frames can show different trends.

1.3160 is critical. Daily close below and you correction could be over.

example of what i do.
Instead of £1 a pip for 40 pips at 20 pip stop loss.
ie 1 x 40 = 40 pip profit.
i put £1 x 20 pip = 20 pip profit then i put £2 a pip for the other 20 pip gain
so 2x 20 = 40 pip profit (20+ 40 =60) so instead of gaining 40 pips i gain 60 .EASY lol

Alright ... What about a Trading Life Cycle in your opinion?

Start --- > Deposit $100 (200 pips margin with trading 50 cents per pip)

Equity($)
First Trade ---> 40 pips with 10 % risk Gain $ 20 120

Now what would be your further calculation?

Are you going to compount the Equity which is now $120 or you are going to compound only the gain which is $20?

No I think he meant if the price is at 1.325x , he go for a short and then when it moves lower to 1.321x then again after 40pips he will short....But dont know about his sl...

You are absolutely correct Swede. Since Mid January we have been on an H1 bull trend, an H4/Daily correction and a weekly/monthly flatline.

Certainly was a trend just an intermediate trend. How is that not a trend? One of the most obvious ones I've ever seen. Look how many times it bounced off the trend, and bounced hard. I guess you can call it a correction too it doesn't really matter lol

Disaster, if that was aimed at me your wrong lol.and pip trapper their may be a word for what i do but i'm very successful doing it 800 pips weekly average that was several months ago but now i am trying a another different trading way and the average is 1300. It is the triggers and how i play the game i am not just following the others lol. Happy trading friends

This method is good considering the followings.

1. You have sufficient Free Margin / A big account atleast £1 * 10 * 1000

Else,

2. You are very good with the Entry .. and Market 90 % of the time not move against you 20 pips.

ADD; It seems the market was expecting 10.9% so it may already be baked in to the price. However, there is no fundamental reason to buy now so it's down to technical bids only (if any).

it was an example, and the 20 stop loss was for easy understanding lol. and yes i do have a massive bank to play with.Its all to do with sticking to your own trading way and never think what might happen.Yes we all know that example e/u is going be smashed down but when? what about last few weeks when it rose?I was triggered on the rise and on the fall. We do have an insight into what will probably happen its the when and what happens in between lol. Stick to simple charts
