I have a question for FF peeps out there:

Is there a correlation with the S&P 500 going down and the USD gain strength? If so is this the simple fact that people are selling their equities for USD. And if that is the case then the USD would then get stronger because of demand?

Thoughts?

yes there is sometimes correlation...but at the same time is does what it wants on and off USD safe haven....whenever there is panic they sell and USD get stronger when investors feel like taking risk they long
