Watch EURSEK, excellent numbers out of Sweden. That may be a precursor to the German data later.

EURUSD should get a bit of a boost here.

DAX is the German stock index, CAC is the French one. As we are going to be euro driven today, they are good correlated indicators of the risk appetite in the market.

In simpler terms, if the DAX and CAC are going down, and there is no dollar correlated move down, then you can start looking for shorts in EURUSD.

Alternative in reverse.

I have never traded EG, when I still traded GBP late last year I always stuck to the majors, I never saw any point trading a composite when you can trade the dollar in a pair, that makes it so much more liquid and easier to trade.

I don't like taking the dollar out of a trading pair, but that's just me.
