im just confused every piece of usd data has been bad and alot of cad data has been bad too and US is our largest trading partner so any usd bad data should also be bad for canadian economy, it seems the only reason CAD is so strong is because of Carney's statement that hes thinking of raising rates... if he does so housing will crater hahahahahaha
im long cad/jpy....i think it will have the most volatility.

FOMC wasnt as whip ass as some thought it would be. Only BoC statement left now. .9835 was too delicious too pass up though, so going long already.

Anyway USD/CAD is now bottoming... Dollar is getting stronger against plenty of currencies.. Hope to see at least a short term rally... Looking for some bad news for global economy to favor safe heavens

USD/CAD broke below the low of the horizontal trading range, oil and natural gas is up, its in a three-day downward channel inside a two-week downward trend, and we're approaching the beginning of the seasonal low for this pair, so I think its going lower before it bounces enough to warrant going long.

I will wait until USD/CAD breaks out of this channel, watching $0.98125 and $0.98000 (where I have Fibonacci) for buying signals.

To daosadi, I think we'll pass through $0.97 and trade around the $0.96 area this summer, much the same as last year, and probably touch $0.94 briefly as well.
You can always make money tomorrow provided you don't lose it today.
