good thing I am on demo. I just have to get better. Its been 3 weeks of ups and downs and today was a complete regression. I NEED to get better.

Do you have a trade plan? Do you have it written down? Do you have a trading diary that you review on a daily and weekly baiss? Do you know statistically what your edge is over at least 5 years of data and a couple of thousands of trades?

If any answers to these questions is no, then you are not trading, you are gambling.

This is a business, treat it as such.

thanks for your input on forks; but, my real question is that Dax, ES, Oil and Silver were UP and Gold was down along with T-Bills so I stayed LONG.

Am I using this info wrong?

No you are not using it entirely wrong, however you forget the Bunds, we are euro driven so don't pay that much attention to WTI/XAU/XAG.

You are right to look at the DAX, which had a healthy correction today and so did the es so that signifies risk on, and you are right that should have favoured longs, however Bunds disagreed with that and so did the missed auction this morning. Furthermore, H4 is still consolidating as I told you 24 hours ago at the last London close. I have been going on all day long about just scalping today as there is such a discrepancy between the higher TF's. I still think that your pitchfork influenced your bias for the day.

Whats annoying about these threads is that there isn't a better way to reload the post to see if there is new posts or not. seem to me if would be better for their servers if they had some sort of trending posts or something. i don't know enough about JAVA to say weather its possible or not.

If it wasn't for the FOMC in 30, I'd take a punt here, not going to be tempted though.

Time for a cuppa and see if we get any fireworks, I got 3 scenarios lined up.

Actually if you think about it it is good for him, trading 150 full lots like our fallen star and feeling nothing after that on demo will not make you a good trader on live acc and will not prepare you psychologically for what is coming, me thinks
