Cable 1hr just closed. Not a perfect pin as it has a green body, but it's at a great location- previous high, touch of trendline. Shorting here in the wick at 49

Never had Hicks, must try some on your recommendation.

I think you may be on to something with the water, there certainly is something about the beer down there these days. I just love Tribute on draught, I can drink it until I drop (and I will, eventually!).

Great charts as always, I may have a little more time to contribute after today as work should ease a little until the end of the week, looking at what I have ahead.

I realise that looking at that 1hr chart I look like a right girls blouse closing some there, but my reason is that white line at 39 is showing resistance turned into support, so better to lock some pips in early. As I type, she looks to be breaking it south

Hey, Trotty. Yes, you must try HSD, and I must try Tribute too. I think they're both from the same brewery, St Austell? Look forward to hearing more from you later in the week

I'm happy with that hourly close, so lowering my stop to 59, it might be a bit too tight, just above the trendline, but worst case scenario now is I have a net BE trade.

Checking in again, I see that my stop was missed by 0.2 pips! Now that was a bit too tight...

I've killed it +5 as it's taking far too long. I don't like trades where PA doesn't work quickly- it often means the opposite might happen. Also Eurgbp is falling through support, so gbp is strong

Re-entering short on cable at 47 after a lot of fannying about, she looks like she's ready to move finally- reasons: rising wedge on 15min and pin on hourly off trendline. I hope things work more quickly this time. 20pip stop

If I can get 10 pips (or more if we have momentum) then I'll take some off around 37 which is roughly the 35/50. But the support at 39 (white line) is a tough nut to crack. Might just have to sit on it for a while.

In the old days, I would have bailed here for 6 pips, but the hourly chart looks promising , so I'll hold out for a bit more before taking 1st profit. We'll see which method works best!

That's entirely up to what you are comfortable with- it might be a little too soon to move to BE. I'm leaving my stop at 20 pips and might add in that half again if we go higher. Alternatively, you could move your stop down a bit to make it a net BE trade if you are stopped out.

No problem, just always keep watching the PA. If things start looking bad it's better to kill it early and reassess. There'll always be other opportunities.

Do you see how in the penultimate candle price went back up, and touched the bottom of the wedge and then dropped? That's a good sign that perhaps we can lower our stop to above the lower wedge line now to take some more risk off.
