There is a lot of correlation involved, eurusd does not operate in a vacuum, less so then a lot of the other pairs. Whatever happens in the world, always has an effect on eurusd.

So yes you have to keep an eye on everything to trade this pair to a certain degree of precision.

One could get away with ignoring everything and still be profitable, but one could never get the precision that I like without keeping an eye on loads of things.

I like my stops tiny, I like knowing exactly where the tops and bottoms are and I like knowing where, why...
The true fact is market doesn't care, risk mgt is important.
