Rising trend line offers some support but now that we have a close below the 61.8 fibo and we didn't see any strong bids driving price back up, I think it will crack and we shall see lower prices today. As always, time will tell.
Remember what has been happening at NY open lately.

risk off day means do we have to look for short opportunities.how about shorting at 1.3170 if price reach there.now my thinking is slightly twisted in the short run, take position with the aim of price reaching .1.3170.now obviously i would like to take smaller position as its countertrend.

The E/U trade is becoming a tricky one lately.

Historically in a risk-off market, one would take a hammer and beat the sell button on this pair. However, lately it seems that risk-off helps the Euro a bit because Euro Zone banks are liquidating foreign assets and repatriating the capital back into Euros. This helps the Euro stay above 1.30

Not too long ago a 120 point drop on the Dow would have been a 200 pip drop in the Euro. It seems those days are temporarily suspended until the Euro Zone banks are done boosting their balance sheets.

Don't mistake this as Euro resilience though. It is just capital flow. The Euro Zone is in major trouble and it is only a matter of time before the house of cards comes tumbling down.

ADD: I have liquidating my lower short positions (1.3199, 1.3165 & 1.3140) in profit for a total gain of +138 pips today. Therefore I am done until a sell opportunity at the next rally as I will not buy this turd of a pair.
