French PMI results

Manufacturing 47.3 vs 47.3 expected, but last month revised down to 46.7 from 47.6

Services 46.4 vs 50.3 expected, but last month revised up to 50.1 from 50.0

E/U breaks below 1.3165 on news but no apparent momentum behind it. Market probably waiting for German figures which are up next at 07:30GMT (09:30PTT)

between 142 and 128 confluence of number of time frame support.i think price will be above unless its break with big momentum.probably i will be establishing position with 50 to 60 pip stop loss and target of 1.3230

There is a pile of buy orders right below current price, which may stop bear along with German PMI and auction. In other hand bad data may cause auction to fail and price rally even further down.

PRE EUROPEAN OPEN, Daily Technical analysis, 23 April 2012 Please note that due to market volatility, some of the below sight prices may have already been reached and scenarios played out. EUR/USD intraday: the upside prevails. Pivot: 1.3160.

Most Likely Scenario: LONG positions @ 1.3165 with 1.324 & 1.328 in sight.

Alternative scenario: The downside penetration of 1.316 will call for 1.3105 & 1.3065.

Comment: The pair is pulling back on its support.

Well then welcome to cha cha. German Manufacturing PMI comes in at a dismal 46.3 vs the expected 49.0
Services however comes in at 52.6 vs the 52.4 expected.

Still overall dismal result though.

German PMI worse than expected:
Manufacturing 46.3
Services 52.6 (slightly better what was expected)

... and in top of that a Dutch Consumer confidence -3.3...

Kno, Do yourself a great favour and completely ignore these kinds of analysis. They are only based on the RSI on a 30 minute chart. Apart from the fact that it is insane to make a call solely based on one indicator, the RSI is not at all reliable on small time frames. RSI indicator is more suited for the daily chart.

Please Let Me Explain Why I Posted It. When I woke up this morning I saw most charts were calling for longs and I had made my views known last night. Here is what I posted about EUR/USD Trader's Call.

I was just checking Oanda fxTrade News EUR/USD Trader at 6:02:02 PM and I see they went Long at 1.3221 at 16:44 PM on April 20, 2012.

Their Stop is at 1.3140 and their Take Profit is at 1.3370

They think EUR/USD is heading towards 1.3400. I really would like to understand that call which is only based on Technicals.

Let's see how this works out for them.

I KNOW one thing as surely as Knoholygrail knows anything and that is if the Dow goes down 200 or more on Monday than EUR/USD will surely test 1.3140 and then 21 Day MA at 1.3128....

They just got STOPPED Out as low is now 1.3136

I always am amazed how technicals take on a life of their own to most of the time give false confidence as Fundamentals and money flow leads the way. Thanks for the comments.

we cant relying/trust our technical on public articels sir especially oanda,their candles in mess and totally different with others...In the end find a good broker that provide a good candles and have our own edge is very Important,then we can improve in trading

It is actually a service that Oanda uses and I think it is IFR Markets that has wide coverage. My point is that Technicals always change based on the present which again is caused by fundamentals, Risk Off and Money Flow.
