We may see a run up to around last week's closed in the Asian hours, then the resulting divergence plus the added volume during euro/pound hours may push this down. waiting for rejection around 3230.

to me looks more like a sucker rally at the mo. also lots of platform starting to go live and sl are going to be hit now.
I do not think its clear now but maybe one of the top guys here can shed some light.

SM moved it lower to start = FADE the buyers, lots of people seem confused and afraid of the sell side a good sign we go lower and push to the downside opening move "Shall We Play a GAME "

Its early days. volatility is still low - pip spread is 7 pips - Nothing to see right now - Tokyo comes on line in about 2 and a half hours - here is where you play a song, talk about a movie - like Rihanna's movie Battleship - it s must see. etc etc etc

i don't know much about forex but i know some hot spot trading areas to watch like 1.3208, 1.3160-75.
Charts are never wrong, but the chart reader often is.

You will hear alot of the traders in here speak about GAPS

Its not GAPS

On friday your broker disconnected its feed from the INTERBANK at X price and when your broker reconnects to the INTERBANK at 5pm Sunday he connects at the price the market is currently trading at.

If your broker never disconnected - you would not see a gap on your chart. So while your broker is disconnected - trading is going on and when he reconnects - he connects where the market is currently trading at - so on your chart you see a GAP, but it is not a GAP - the broker just picked up where the market is now trading.


This is cloggie's explanation:

Just because you platform is closed, that doesn't mean there is no market. Do your really think that DB/GS are using MT4? Get real.

There are no gaps, in 25 years of looking at live charts on currencies, I have rarely seen one.

While you guys wait for your broker to wake up from his hangover, some of us have been busy already.
