Don't know all depends on your requirements, ask next door in the broker section.

I am not going to make broker recomendations, I have posted plenty of what to look out for in a broker, even posted a checklist to use for the selection process a while back.

Just avoid any and all brokers that are not regulated and that don't have a capital reserve of at least 10Mn, even then there are no guarantees, plenty of big boys have gone under, think MF and Refco.

IF your TP is 3205 and the broker opens at for example 3170 then your TP will not be hit and your trade will still be live as the there was no tick available above 3205 on your platform. Your broker would not close your trade at 3170 as that tick is below your TP

Hi Cloggie, I really value each one of your posts, so the following question is just because I would like to understand: looking at the picture it seems to me to recognize your broker (is one of mines as well, will not mention the name as I do not want to mention brokers' names...)...but for me it says "market is closed" if I try to put in any order...Is that because you have different settings (e.g. you might have a much bigger account than mine)? also, to me it shows a big spread, order of 5 pips, so I would not do input any order right now.... Again, do you have smaller spreads because you have more "institutional" settings?

Think of it, I showed you closed positions with a current price, how could I be using your broker if yours is still closed?

As the layout was identical to mine, I thought you had "institutional" settings that allowed you to have access at different times and also lower spreads (i.e. as per spreads I was able to negotiates tighter spreads based on volume transacted)...

Yeah, I'll stop shorting it just above 3166 to see what the big boys are going to do with that number. Not planning on buying it on the first rejection of that level either, I will just watch if for a bit to get a feel of the sentiment out there in the market.
