I've missunderstood you. What I meant is that backtesting proves nothing; showing a strategy that could of been profitable past 5 years (or 5 years of "virtual" trades) doesn't prove anything since you can devise a strategy as long as you keep introducing enough rules/exceptions to make it good.
But it's highly probable that in the future all those rules/exceptions won't work.

If nobody would be able to devise a strategy(regardless of how many rules/exceptions, heck even include some "market feeling" that strategy might have) that would prove profitable past years with a high number of trades that would prove that profits are indeed impossible to be made by trading.

Edit: all that I was saying is that it can be done, even I could do it; but in the future that strategy will be probably useless

i held a short a small one, cleared most of the big ones yesterday when it went to 3090. if i had them too as i was going to wait till it go down to 3060s i would have hated you now but like you said the other day to me I traded my trade!!.
My small one can wait till it goes back down to 30 again not bothered even the PA goes to 35.Good to see you !

Raz, I allocated money for a living, I assessed potential managers, I know what I am looking for. A demo account with 5 year backtesting is good for toiletpaper if it wouldn't give me a papercut on my @rse.

thank you for letting me know. just notified ff about the glitch. they are in the process of correcting that error.

we will have to see about that short next week. 1hr momentum is exhauting. smaller tfs already shifted to downside, but being that it's a friday, we will just have to see on that next week.

4hr momentum, however..., is still increasing to upside. so if 1hr shifts it's course, lets see if it can drag 4hr down.

Got some good homework this weekend. Catching up on alot of fundie homework as well as reviewing how the trade plan returned and the flexibility employed.... Was a decent week.
