Wth was that spike from 1.3197 all the way up to 1.3220?

Also scalped for past two hours and got +53
this morning on first few hours of London open I got +64
so im +117 , enough 4 me for today

I still think FOMC will be the deal breaker next week , give us a clear direction

Looks like Euro bears have gotten themselves trapped. But they are still shorting the Euro. SSI points to more gains for the Euro. The G20 may surprise with some sort of solution to the sovereign debt crisis.

Look at the over 6:1 Ratio of Short versus longs on the GBP/USD!!

EURUSD - The ratio of long to short positions in the EURUSD stands at -1.67 as nearly 63% of traders are short. Yesterday, the ratio was at -1.39 as 58% of open positions were short. In detail, long positions are 6.8% lower than yesterday and 16.1% weaker since last week. Short positions are 11.8% higher than yesterday and 40.9% stronger since last week. Open interest is 4.0% stronger than yesterday and 4.4% above its monthly average. The SSI is a contrarian indicator and signals more EURUSD gains.

Hey Professor Cloggie.... In one of your post from over a day ago... you mention es/DOW... I presume that Dow is from the DOW Jones Industrial Average Index(s).. but what does the acronym [es] stand for?

Target level at 1.3212 has been reached. That is 150 pips. Pressure is still upwards toward the stoplosses at 1.3240 - 1.3260

I warned you guys all morning that the daily is making for a turn and that the postion traders will scale in their positions.

Anyone who lost money today needs to have a good read over my posts for today and figure out where they are going wrong.

This ain't rocket science, it is all in your charts. 3221 has been in the planning since I posted it here almost 5 hours ago.

We are playing out the daily chart right now, learn how to adapt your trading style accordingly, or else go flip burgers at McD.

Hello Cloggie, really appreciate your postings. Is 3221 a fib projection target? Curious about what tools you are using.

No point in me telling you where I got it from, why don't you see if you can find it on your own charts, that way you know what to look out for next time.


The more important point I have been trying to make all morning is what is happening on the daily chart, you need to properly understand that one to understand a day like today. Feck 3221, find the reason for 3185 and how the feck did I know it was going to be in play for hours here before it even happened. That is the real question you should be asking, and as I am not going to answer it, that is the real answer you need to find.

Short term momentum was fading. Doesn't mean it exhausts larger tfs. Besides. You don't get in at the top and bottom formation. You need to wait for trade setup. Either wait for confirmation or wait for the sets to mature.
