Equities down, JPY gaining ground, AUD falling, CAD falling. Has all the markings of Risk-Off, but EUR and GBP holding steady and inching up. That's a head scratcher for sure.
My take: The Euro repat trade is full on and/or QE3 hopes/fears are stronger than ever.
I don't want to believe forex traders are that stupid to believe on QE3 before FED actually starts talking about it - or are they?

It was more red on stats, which caused risk to turn on again.

Anyway, let's see what happens after market has a chance to digest the smaller numbers behind the headline.

Yes most likely a knee-jerk reaction, but I wouldn't be too quick to dismiss the trader's perception of QE3 possibilities. Remember the lemmings?
