150 pip sl for 50 pip gain isn't bad on this pair at this time. That's bloody fast pair.

If you are serious about your signature, then you should take at least 2500 pip stoploss for 50 pip profit.

That's why I said "If I were you"............... But your idea is not bad at all. I still remember your two year old trade for 16 pip short just above 1.2900 with sl at 1.6000.

I must say one of the best questions someone asked on this thread.

A big move (either a break or reversal) occurs in three ways:

1. Price instantly starts moving in one direction up or down with little or no warning (this normally happens when something bad happens or some unexpected news comes out), or

2. It first moves in opposite direction and then in its intended direction (this is most common because sellers/buyers keep on offering until those offers are taken by the other party), or

3. Up and down, up and down for several times on the break or bounce and then same day or next it slowly starts going in its longer term direction (This happens when traders differently interpret the news or an event but later actual impact becomes clearer).

I may not be there all the time to pick the right moment, therefore sometimes take a position in advance and normally no sl just to avoid getting it hit during these temporary up/down moves. For example if a news is expected on Friday and a good chance of week-end gap.
