DNTme, right! It could very well happen that way; BBs keep the price high all week while loading up on shorts, and slam it down when they are ready to. Nobody can, or should, predict this however, or the possible timing of it. It is just a possibility, but a viable one considering the deceptive nature of the various trading strategies of the BBs.

Hmm yes you're right and I failed to consider the angle of the dragon but sometimes from tah's trades this seems like a non-issue... consider the very next post by tah was a short while the dragon was angled up!

I believe this is not correct. As far as I've been following sonic system says to enter trade a few pips above the high of the the candle that exits the dragon (for long) and not to wait for break of leg #1 unless it is a strong S/R zone.


Tah do u have any suggestions for filtering setups when they exist in both directions and no strong S/R around. This is a recurring theme for me.

You are incorrect. If you closely examine the end of the Dragon in the trade entry post, you will see it already started to angle down. Not much at that time, of course, but down nevertheless. Certainly, a pronounced and stronger angle bodes much better for the trade. This trade since is only waffling up and down, and mostly above my short entry. This kind of makes the point, doesn't it?

So, the obvious suggestion is to pass on any trade such as you describe. My trade might turn out ok, but as it stands it was a waste of time. I too, should have passed.

I took this long but I again had the issue I often have where there is a sonic setup in both directions. I find it very difficult to decide which to pull the trigger on, in this case the only reason I went long and passed up the short was because the candles coming out of the dragon on the short setup had long bottom wicks and seemed to be rejecting that price... but other than that it seems that either setup would have looked fine... can somebody care to comment on how they pull the trigger when there is a double...
It doesn't look like the direction of the dragon was very defined in EITHER of those situations to me.

imtah, what are you using to take the snapshots. I use Snipping Tool in windows 7 and save as png and never have a problem uploading. It could also be because FF puts a limit on the amount of attachments you can upload until you have a certain amount of posts approved (i think 10 or something). Hope that helps.

This asian session activity looks quite bearish. Maybe today the overall market will follow-thru bearishly. I've lowered the TP, which is now 100+ pips below the swing high. Remember, this tends to swing in 100+, 150+, etc. pip moves.

MT4 has the feature built-in. Click File/Save As Picture. You can save three ways. I use the middle choice. Save your picture to some file. Each month I create a Desktop folder to contain the pictures for the month (example: "April Screenshots"). All my MT4 pictures go there, and that is the folder I browse to upload a picture as an attachment to FF posts.

that's a good way to arhive all screen shots.

another way is to use the script and this will save all screen shot in the same MT4 install folder .

While the asian session started with bearish action, and while the market today may follow thru with bearish action, note the SR area in the attached picture. Do not be surprised if the BBs drive price back up into that area before any serious downside move. It is not guaranteed they will do this, but it is a distinct possibility especially if a downside move is in the making for later today.

(I'll bet Hansma is stalking for just this kind of move.)

There is a EUR high impact release in less than three hours. Three and a half hours later there is a USD high impact release. It is possible the BBs will work PA up prior to, or in conjunction with, the EUR release, hold it up until the USD release, and then slam it down. Nobody knows. Anything...
