DislikedWilliam,
you mention 3 pips in spread. There is not much of pairs that has less than 3 pips in spread unless you are commission based trading.Ignored

DislikedAl, can we see on eur/usd and usd/chf two italian boot? So now price in first case the price rises and in second drops?Ignored
DislikedMisunderstood. You opened baskets twice, one at 10 AM est and another one at 10 PM EST. When you close the basket that opened at 10 AM EST in the morning??Ignored
DislikedHello Xlitang,
My point is that I see a lot of value in what Alfredo is working on. The 'basket' approach has real potential. I do not want to post trades that are not per the thread strategy.

DislikedI close it before the 5:00 pm EST rollover to avoid the interest charges. If I have an unusually large profit in the middle of the day, I will take that as well. That is your discretion.
But I emphasize, this is unproven. It has only been a few days. It could fall apart tomorrow. I was only saying that from my experience, Alfredo's basket approach has real potential.Ignored
DislikedWilliam, you can post whatever you want. Maybe by letting other people see the logic behind the trades you can arrive at an even better solution. Sometimes other eyes can see things your eyes overlook.Ignored
DislikedHello,
For those who are interested, this is the current Luktom Visual Order Editor. It is much more user friendly.

DislikedThank you Alfredo.
I appreciate your kind offer.
I will post them tonight and we will see how it goes.
William
P.S. I use Steve Hopwood's MPTM to close the entire basket. You only need to have it loaded on one pair. I save it as a template and then open it only when I want to close the entire trade.Ignored
DislikedIs this post where you posted the EA in the thread, or have you not shared it?
Thanks William. I know its not proven or anything, but it's a start and can work in conjunction with other ideas for sure.Ignored
DislikedYou can also drag the script below into any chart to close everything.Ignored
DislikedHello Jason,
My idea is not an EA, it is simply looking at the MTF Slope indi and joining the trend.
The EA I posted is the latest version of the Luktom Visual Order Editor. It allows you to click and drag your TP and SL with your computer mouse. As far as I can tell, it operates the same as earlier versions. The main difference I see is that the settings are much more simple. Thanks again to Oliver (Olarion1975).

DislikedWilliam, you say you look at it twice a day and all 3 time frames have to line up with the slope direction. What do you do when one doesnīt line up? You donīt trade that day?
I agree with what you say. It is way too early to declare victory. The Slope indi is excellent in detecting building momentum, but we havenīt faced wacky, all over the place volatility yet. I donīt think that system will survive large spikes.Ignored

Dislikedthanks William for this. Does it go into experts/indicators ? I'm very new to Mt4 . I tried to put it there but nothing happens when I try to apply it to a chart and is not listed in the indi list.Ignored
