Well, in spite of those claiming any move down was a fakeout, and in spite of any ascending triangle formed when the BBs went to work today to drive the price up, I see a very real probability that the move up was the fakeout! And considering the extended time it went on, and yet the modest amount of climb, the BBs had plenty of time to coax in longs to give off their own longs to, and take on shorts,.....all without the greater investment required to move price even higher to consumate the trickery. We'll see, maybe tomorrow, just where the market's "heart" has been thru all of this; A 250+ pip drop back down thru the range and on down to the RWL area? Nobody knows. We'll just have to wait and see.

I share your views as I just posted before you and I too think in the bigger picture, this might be exactly that, a nice way to suck in a bunch of longs.

If the USD breaks through 79 decisively however, all bets are off.

The IDEA is :
1) if we follow HH and HL - LL and LH - where is the correct POINT -
and in this case we have to find Balance Line ( conservative Entry )...
what does it means.... 50% of previous SWING...and I found SONIC Dragoon is a POINT = start to count...
2) there is a Statistic Data - changes in Direction ( for EURO 60 min)
is 100-120 pps .................... ( from this Level only UP = Sonic Dragoon)
3) higher 50% - PA is UP
4) take 15 min TF and more detail/ corrective countings
5) Follow to the SONIC RULES

Sonicers, follow the rules and recommendations. The rule for EP is very clear: at least a few pips beyond the end of the wave leg #3 first candle exiting the Dragon. As for recommendations, Master Sonicdeejay recommended yesterday to sit out longs (by exclusion), and to sit out shorts until PA dropped below the 1.3100 whole number, a more conservative EP area based on S&R. That is very clear. That is very simple. And that also assumes entry time is during the London session, an ongoing recommendation.

As for finding a line that mates with yesterday's high, also very simple: just look back to the bottom of the red climax candle down on H1 (see chart attached). This is a simple exercise in learning to see S&R areas.

SonicR is elegantly simple, well established and needs no tweaking. The more you try to fiddle with it, the more time you are wasting away from learning, and then focusing on Price Activity and S&R, both of which are critical to mastering the Sonic R. System. We only use two price derivative technicals, along with price itself: the Dragon (to qualify entry) and Trend (for market bias). And with those two items, we also use a bit of volume (for increased activity and for possible ends of runs). That is the Sonic R. System. Don't try to change it, or add to it. If you do, you are no longer attempting to learn this method. You are attempting to create your own "hybrid", and should spend that time on your own thread for whatever does result from your effort.

Be here and learn the Sonic R. System, or else why be here?

i agree with that. if i may what is your SL in those trap? well i did short too before it break up and it touch my SL of 5 pips. I pick only 5 pips because i hit it right in the SR(Support Resistance) area. Do you think my SL only 5 pips is reasonable?

as i mentions above that beware of the retrace and i did short it again and currently +25. already move y sl to BEP.

Your answer is little complex.
First trap traders zone or fade breakout are NOT Sonic R system., then we can´t post here.
Personally I prefer "built" a position with more than one entries.
I don´t use stop (mental or hard) until I finish with that.
But if you use 5 pips SL you will be stop out many time, most of the time.
Re-Entries is not always possible ( I don´t use)
For trading trap you need to know a lot about type of orders and location in the chart. For example if you enter in short position "usually" the stop will be 25-50 pips away.
If you fade the Stop loses orders you need to enter 25- 50 pips away the last swing.
TAH post many times every day, the same " follow Sonic R rules and post only the system chart."
I´m open to discuss in PM any another info.

Could not agree more. I see allot of bias lately. I too fell pray to this. At least i broke even (made trades that i shouldnt have and could have been up... dumb me again...) in this wild week. Trade what you see is always the best motto.

Today is Friday, going to step away to relax and rest... Let the market settle then back at it, happy mid April.

The real problems with this sentence is "what you see".
I see different thing.
If 90-95 % of the traders lost money and they are "see" the same chart, you cant trade "what you see" successfully

What mean "let the market settle" ? - The market is always right.
If you mean, turn more logical for you, you have a wrong map.
