Rounded Rectangle shows 'Yesterday' and Hexagon shows 'Today'
The charts shows how bearish both are but the sucker is more bearish and IMO its severely bearish and its a matter of time for a free fall...(may be in coming days,weeks or may be 3,4 months but the free fall is sure IMO)...
EDIT: Yesterday when USDollar was around 9950 the EU was around its top 1.3150 and today when USDollar is around the same level EU is around 1.311x and when USDollar was at 9946 the EU was at 1.312x

Good morning everybody

In about 1 hour from now we should all see the results of today's Italian BTP auction. Of particular interest will be the 10 year bond result as they seem to be the market accepted benchmark for the health of a country's credit worthiness.
Of course I do not expect the results to shine through with any confidence from the market. Obviously anything could happen. After all, Jesus turned water into wine, didn't he?

Market talk that I've been reading on the news wires is that the BIS is on the offer in the 1.3150 zone which is capping this pair. Apparently they are doing some money laundering for the SNB (They call it sterilization, I call it laundering)
As for the bottom end of the range, I'm not sure who is on the bid but I would highly suspect official intervention on this. It could be ECB or Fed or both in cooperation. Of course that is the conspiracy theorist in me speaking. It may just be nervous Euro zone banks liquidating foreign assets and repatriating the proceeds into Euros. Regardless, as usual it's the deep pockets playing their silly games in an otherwise thin market. I guess we should thank them all for giving us some volatile swings to scalp.

I'm not going to post an E/U chart this morning. It's pointless because it looks exactly the same as yesterday's... up down up down up down and on it goes.
Instead, here is an updated Government bond quote chart. Notice Italy and Spain. Not good.
