The market hates me today. I had a short at 3122 with a stop at BE+2 and it just took me out only to turn around again. If this sucker heads back down now, I'm not going to be a happy camper

Well, I don't know why the sudden pop. Crude/Gold basically unchanged and can't see to find anything in the news that would propel the price up. Guess I was just lucky

DM4 was not touched (missed by one point). I'll hang on a bit longer...

ADD: Out for +27. I think it's going to re-test Daily pivot at 1.3090

It's a broad based dollar dump. No doubt CB intervention.

1.3140 is more likely now.

No more fresh entries for me until I see what NY has to offer.

EZ periphery Gov bond yields soaring and the Euro goes up at the same time???

I smelly something fishy. tsk tsk. Smells like Draghi.

Hi man,

1,31456 should be tested. It is week 39 low. Imo pretty important. I aint entering anyway, I consider taking 3171 if market comes there and I get a signal.

Apparently I'm not the only one who suspects Draghi.

"There is chatter about a large US bank was on the bid as EUR/USD climbed higher but stalled out ahead of the Asian high at 1.3145. ECB fixing demand at 1215 GMT was also a likely culprit."

The 4H E/U looks to be forming a bear flag. The 1H E/U is in an up trend with top of channel around 1.3155-1.3160.

USDX 1H looks like a malformed Head & Shoulder with the neckline at 79.800.

If the USDX drops and continues to fall below 79.800 it would validate the H&S but invalidate the bear flag on the 4H E/U as it would continue to go up.

Decisions, decisions...

Good Afternoon Traders…
Hope everybody is fine after Easter holiday weekend.
It was nice to have few days off but I’m really happy to be back with my charts…
EURUSD struggled whole Monday with ascending support line, which “she” couldn’t break.
And this is pretty good.
This way the market has created a nice narrowing wedge formation which is excellent formation for my favorite trading style – swing trading.
With its obvious boundaries, which I hope will hold until the end of the week, it brings many opportunities for both bulls and bears to grab few pips…
Not much to say, the chart says everything…

It is important for me to break 1.3145...
Many, many bears left their SL above this level, some will go shorting at 1.3145 so it will be hard to break, but if triggered it should draw a chain reaction closing all their SL and quickly moving price to 1.31800
So I keep my fingers crossed,

Oh yeahh... this is weekly chart
I do agree, but would like to "cover" first a little bit LAST week candle with THIS week candle, (unless some stunning breaking news emerge, certainly)
