No. No.

What I mean is that lot size of my first position is such that if I do not set an sl, should get a margin call at 10,000 pip loss on that one position. This way I know I can open minimum of 10 positions before getting a margin call if pa goes 1000 against me (10,000/10). However, If I decide to open let's say 20 positions the margin call would come nearer to 500 pips (500 x 20).

This game requires more than just speculating pa direction. Calculation is main part of this business.

The basic rule is that one at no point should lose his/her operating capacity. Once its lost, coming back to BE is very difficult, if not impossible.

If it gets below 1.2930, I will close all my longs.

We'll be at around 1.4150 come June of this year, according to my calculations. And as long as we don't go below 1.2844, it should happen. And the highest it could go is between 1.44xx and 1.47xx around June. The key area to break now is 1.3432, because if we do, then that will be the key support line, instead of current resistance. But who am I? Just some drunk with a calculator in my hands.

Its easy. Let me force it on you because its important.

1. No trade open. Free Margin $10,000 = Good

2. Trades open. Free Margin $2,000 = Perfect

3. Trades open, in profit. Free Margin $3500 = No good

4. Trades open, in profit. Open more trades. Free Margin $2,500 = Perfect

5. Trades open, in loss. Free Margin $700 = No good

6. Trades open, in loss. Close few trades. Free Margin $2,000 = Perfect

Free margin never goes to zero nor exceeds 20% to 25% of account balance.

PS - 20% should represent at least 100 pips on all open positions. This is the game of calculation.
