U.S. jobless claims are likely to have dropped by 4,000 last week to 355,000, according to economists surveyed by Bloomberg before a report today. The U.S. government is also due to release a March employment report tomorrow that may show a fourth straight month of jobs growth above 200,000. Positive employment figures are increasing confidence in the U.S. recovery.

Id say 1 hour wrong. Look at the liquidity indicator on the top left on FF frontpage. From there you can see, that London has been open over 1 hour.

I was long also during that 2008 episode but survived only because of MM.

ps. Either keep your position very small or go for very limited number of pip profit or loss.

Thanks to 1:400 margin in those days. I now use 1:20.

Still remember that night. I kept on pressing buy orders 64 of them (still remember) from 1.26xx through 1.24xx when it broke 1.3000. Everyone was expecting a drop of 300 pips but when it dropped 400 instead, I started buying. Barely missed marging call before I covered majority of loss on a great spike. ..............But got 11 margin calls thereafter during normal times.

Wow!! 11... Then you really got balls to get back up again... I only got 2 margin calls before I started making profit.. Although I had up to 40 demo account margin calls.
