Hi guys,

I'm working on a project involves identifying harmonic patterns. When I was doing my brief search online, I couldn't find any what I consider well programmed indicators in this area. So I'm in the process of making them myself. Because there is a lot of work involved in this, just case I have missed anything, is there any high quality open source harmonic indicators out there?

If someone can point to something I can test that will be great. If not, this maybe something I can share eventually. Thanks.

i do not know know about any open source valuable harmonic indicator.
guess 3 most popular MT4 exist:
ZUP - the pioneer in this area (everyone knows ZUP!)

it took us several years to go the path from korHarmonics to AMP indicator. Funny, at the end harmonic patterns recogntion code takes only 10% of the code, rest are the confirmations, the key in harmonic trading.
Good luck, man! You are choosing super intersting path with new indicator programming. I enjoyed it a lot, and learnt lots.

Thanks for your quick reply.

I will check those out. Yeah, zup is the only one I have heard.

Harmonic patterns will be a very challenging one. The part to calculate retrace or extension is really no problem at all, more trouble is what to use to identify the swing high/lows. One more thing, here I don't have the right term, but depending on how close you look at the chart, in theory there should be numerous patterns existing if you look at the really big picture. I'm still struggling on this key point.

When i started couple of years ago had no idea about harmonics. Struggled on the way with many small and bigger trading/mathematical/mq4 programming issues.
