It's hard to cut right through 1.3250. We already plummeted through 1.33, 1.3280 and now 1.3250 needs a rest..but not good for initiating longs

Got carrier away doing other things and realized the FOMC news had just past... Came back to see a 100 point drop that I missed

Hope some of you were able to get some.

I'm currently shorting GBP/USD but my EUR shorts got stopped out.

You're right, it is hard under normal circumstances... but this is not normal. I'm not saying we're going to have a 500 pip move but moves like that have happened before. Therefore, I don't see why we cannot reach and close below 1.3190 today. It's less likely we will but you can never say it is impossible.

1.3220 will be tough though

Yes still holding. 1.341, 1.324, 1.319 plus or minus a couple of pips

Well all sub H1 time frames are over sold according to MacD and RSX indicators.
However, I don't believe this move is over yet.

Spanish 10 year bond yields have shot back up to 5.46%
I don't see any rejection candles on any time frame at these levels.
I cannot see how price can go back above 1.33 (although I might be missing something)

Regardless, the key here is that the USDX has been falling lately over renewed fears/hopes of further FED easing. Those fears/hopes were thrown out the window today. Not 100% but enough to move forward with confidence in a bullish dollar again.

ADD: It seems PimCo's Bill Gross and the folks at GS are still in denial. http://www.forexlive.com/blog/2012/0...qe3-bandwagon/

ADD: Gross: “Some, a couple, many. Depends on who “they” are. Minutes should say the Chairman felt that…" He sounds pissed off
