Hello Everyone,
I just finished reading over the last week the last 175 pages of the thread and got to pick up what I think suits best for me. I'm about to begin my first trading session (bad time I know, I'll go with NY open from the beggining tommorow )
What I'm taking for trading the 60-5 method but with M15 instead (not so much screentime available =P) is:
- Arrow
- 5MA
- FXI Pivots
- Symph Autorefresh
- Stochastic 11,3,3 as per RJ's method as an additional filter
And for the 60-5 Method I'm using the great H1 matrix
- Symphonie v3.0 ES (H1)
and Symphonie v3.0.1 (M15)
I'm pretty excited about the faith that the regular contributors of this thread have in this system. Just like most of us, I have too hopped from system to system but haven't found one that really suits me. From reading the thread I beleive this could be the one that finally fits my personality and my time availability/schedule/timezone, etc... so I'll be sticking around here until I dominate this system.
For anyone who's interested in a total Symph Newb's quest for success, you can follow my demo trades here...

I'll be monitoring several charts from beginning of NY (Cant trade london open because I live in Peru =P) until it's close... I'll still be watching the charts after that but only enter the market if I see good opportunities or trends.
Now regarding the system I have a couple of doubts that I wasn't able to sort out by reading the thread:
1- Is my Stochastic Indy looking correct? From the screenshots I've seen it looks like mine are way "flatter" and should be hopping more from top to bottom. I'm using the MT4 version. Is everyone using some other version?
2- I noticed some people requested the old Sentiment indy and I can see why (look at screenshot... the old one (to the right) sent a short signal way before so I can see what they mean =P) It's logical then that the new sentiment will be more "conservative" as the other will be more aggresive but I still want to know, Are the experienced symph traders sticking to the old one or switching to the new one?
3- One final thing. I really like the alerts of the Symphonie Matrix 3.0.1 as I don't have to stick my face in front of the screen all the time, but I wander if there's a similar alert for when we get an opposite spike either in the higher or shorter TF (not a complete opposite signal, just the spike) so we can monitor and plan exits more carefully!
4- I like the FXI Pivots for setting targets TP1, TP2, etc as many people are doing, but I've seen in some screenshots that some people are using another different indy for Support and Resistance. Could it be possible for someone to post it here? =P
I'll be posting some of my trades to see if I'm applying the system correctly
Best regards from Peru
Diego
