At the end of your post 10216 you mention we have to change the settings ourselves. To which of the indicators are you reffering then?

Also eval, one question: Is there any signaler indicator working with this new Symphonie system indis?
Ignored

All settings with the exception of Extreme v3.0 you will not have to change. As to Signaler....you will have to ask ldHT about that one. I know he is working on updates but I do not know if he has used the v3.0 indikators on a new Signaler.

This is a silly question but, before the ext spike you would exit. Now how do you exit?

Also, I've noticed that many of you have tried trading this system with different TF, any input on using 15 mins or even 30 mins? what are the results? Some switched to 15 mins due to the repaint issue, but now that there's no more repaint issue are you guys switching back to trading 5 min charts?

Thank you very much for that insightful chart, the numbers speak for themselves, I'll stick to the 5min chart. Great system.

I bought at the red line on the chart, all indicators aligned. After a few bars the extreme switched. So, I guess I hold?

Symphonie Matrix Version 3.0

After extensive testing by RealJumper, Olivia, and myself; I am releasing the new Symphonie Matrix v3.0. There are a few major and minor upgrades and I post it now for all to keep current.

However, the one major difference in this release from the previous versions is a great improvement of the Symphonie System. In this version you will find all new indikators with the v3.0 attached. That is because in the version 3.0 one will find the Extreme values NO LONGER repaint!!

Why? Thank MaryJane for this excellent...

Evaluator,

Thank you for the new version

I have set the alarm to "on" on the matrix v 3.0 but it seems I am not getting the notifications, is there anything else that needs to be changed to activate the notifications?

Thank you

In my case, i had to load the extreme cycle indikator which is not part of the matrix v3.0 package. I think that still repaints. I dont know how to read the extreme on the matrix 3.

Ive read through 3/4 of this entire thread. But all thats done for me is confuse me!. Eval could you explain exactly your technique your using right now? when everything lines up, you enter and what is your exit technique. If we're waiting for an extreme spike in the opposite direction, It doesnt seem very profitable backtesting (and using static indicators)

Could you elaborate without referring me to post1 exactly how you trade this, as this is not very clear after going through this huge thread. Exact technique Im looking for, with exact indi settings and exact indis. Thankyou

Sentiment and Emotion will still repaint but to a lesser degree, what Eval was talking about was the alternative to the extreme, top row. Once the bar has closed it does not repaint.

I'm sure evaluator has not got time to go over everything he's already gone over. You may not want to refer to post 1 again, but you should because nobody is going to explain something that is already written down for you IN POST NUMBER 1.

The extreme cycle indicator isn't part of matrix v3. The TVI2 has taken its place completely.

Post 1 is irrelevant! many things have changed since then and many people have asked the same thing im asking. Its pointless reading post 1 as that is now how he trades it now.

1. wait for all 4 indis to agree
2. enter
3. exit on when we see an extreme spike on opposite side (either fully or leave half running until trendline changes colour

Evaluator is that exactly all you do? with all indi settings remaining the same from post 1? I find it hard to believe after him announcing all the diff indis, settings, timeframe hes changed to. Im new and I've noticed I'm not the only one confused by this mamouth of a thread. You guys know what your doing, new people (to the thread) don't. And it feels like utter confusion from a neutral new person point of view!

I suggest you CAREFULLY re-read my post. During the open time of a bar it may repaint but once the Extreme value bar closes that bar does not repaint. Sentiment repainting issue has been improved but not eliminated it will still repaint to some extent but not as bad.
