In your 1st post you state that only Extreme and Sentiment repaint so just for information: Emotion repaints too. And if you mean that some repaint - yeah 3 of 4 indicators repaint. As I'm sure that there is no problem with Extreme indicator repainting I think that Emotion+Sentiment both repainting is certainly not a good sign, even if you have some system that requires 4 indicators to go in the same direction.
Btw. You can have good results using this system not because it's great by itself but just because you have overall good feeling of the...

your right e473194 , using this system gives you a good feel for the market if you use it correctly
Its excellent , and not one that you can set and forget so much
the four indies together should give the boost but remember to get out if it turns (thats why you cant set and forget it so much)

oh hi kelly. quite the opposite . i showed the charts so you know when to take the 60-5 from "yesterday's" signal. and when to pause to allow for the "current day's" trend.

and the trend will be the same for all correlated currencies... not a fearless forecast of course

caution, when an H1 bar moves by 100 pips in 1 solid hour, rarely will it have momentum to carry on the next hours.

You're so kind and always looking out for us. Thankyou yelena.
So trading today and tomorrow is profitable right?

like the happiest day of the month, IMHO if it ends up ranging.........
then again, its financially-driven. so highly, unlikely that it would range on such a high volatility day.

e473194,

I am not going to get into that discussion with you (it is a waste of time and posts) as I said...READ the THREAD you will find all these topics have already been discussed. If you continue down this path then you need to go somewhere else.

There are over 10,000 posts within this thread. I suggest you start reading them before you ask questions. You need to READ the THREAD and understand what is going on and what issues have been discussed.

So, stop now while you are new and READ THE THREAD!

P.S. did I mention...you need to READ the THREAD???

Evaluator,

I'm working my way gradually through the thread but would appreciate clarification on the following as I'm watching the charts at the same time to better understand the method.

Question I have is regarding the special exception to exit strategy rule, my understanding is if the trade hasn't yet gone 30 pips in profit and we haven't moved our SL to BE+3 pips yet but we get an extreme spike we exit the trade immediately without waiting for 4 candles to confirm if the extreme spike repaints? Is this correct.

thx

Both E/U and A/U in +.Momentum was there so move was quite predictable. Fast and aggressive.

And shorting E/J right now.

Edit: Just closed E/J at +2 pips as there 1H very strong support level below. Not ones to joke with.

fugly,

That decision is up to you. I however, wait the 4 bars then exit as I consider a 4 bar of opposite extreme the point to exit. I will say that with this modification I move my stoploss to +1 profit just to protect the balance if possible.

Lastly, if I feel uncomfortable with price action I will exit on the first opposite extreme. But gernerally, I exit on close of 4th bar.

Symphonie Matrix Version 3.0

After extensive testing by RealJumper, ohammond, and myself; I am pleased to be releasing the new Symphonie Matrix v3.0. There are a few major and minor upgrades and I post it now for all to keep current.

However, the one major difference in this release from the previous versions is a great improvement of the Symphonie System. In this version you will find all new indikators with the v3.0 attached. That is because in the version 3.0 one will find that the Extreme Indikator values NO LONGER repaint!!

Why? First, I want to thank MaryJane for this excellent piece of work. The new indikator being used for Symphonie Extreme Indikator v3.0 is based on code from a reworking of the indikator TVI recoded by MaryJane, and ldHT of the original indikator TVI (see post #3643) This indikator was the creation of William Blau created in 2006. TVI is now replacing GoldSuperCycle as the Extreme value of the 4 indikaator Symphonie System. Additionally, Steve Hopwood reworked parts of the Sentiment indikator and was able to clean up the code but leave the existing setups and values for the indikator. This also cuts down on its repaints and you will find it more stable with less repainting problems than before.

Attached you will find a zip file that will contain the new files necessary for the v3.0 Matrix to function properly and all are coded to the same v3.0 to keep all the versions tied to the new Matrix. Additionally included is RealJumpers Arrow indikator, ldHT's Symphonie Pivot Indikator, TimeClock by EJ, and templates for Basic Symphonie v3.0, Symphonie Matrix v3.0, and Symphonie v3.0 RealJumper variant.

Evaluator.:nerd:

P.S. YOU WILL BE REQUIRED to set the input settings yourself! With the exception of the v3.0 Extreme Indikator. (see post #1 for my current settings)

You don't for Extreme because it is totally different. Default setting for the v3.0 are already set. No changes of v3.0 Extreme is necessary.

At the end of your post 10216 you mention we have to change the settings ourselves. To which of the indicators are you reffering then?

Also eval, one question: Is there any signaler indicator working with this new Symphonie system indis?
