what a crappy week this is. I've already lost 1/3 of what I made in march. I keep entering trades, price hits my S/L and then goes straight to my initial target quite often I have already entered an opposite trade so I have 2 S/L's hit by that time I hate days like this

Stop trading, calm down, take a time out - find out what way the markets trending and why you messed up, accept the losses as a learning experience THEN return to trade.

I lost my half of my profit that I made during Bernankes speech, that was quite a lot because of shitty eur/usd this week, so I decided to quit eurusd as long there are better signals. But I think many traders are very undecided yet, as short:long postiotions are ~50:50

But I think we will leave the range today with the unemployement claims coming out, at least for a while if there is a correction.

As long I'm counting green pips with audusd and gbpusd

Not a good market for beginners like me I guess...

week. According to statements made by the finance ministers, the European governments are
preparing for a one year increase in the maximum on rescue aid to 940 billion EUR to keep the
debt crisis controlled.

Market Review – Fundamental Perspective
The finance chiefs of the euro area will probably decide on an authorizing of the 500 billion EUR permanent European Stability Mechanism parallel to the 200 billion EUR committed by the temporary fund at today’s meeting in Copenhagen. Beyond that, they are also set to allow the temporary fund’s unused 240 billion EUR to be tapped until the middle of 2013. This could be the case in exceptional trouble following a solid decision of euro-area heads of state or government, especially, in case the ESM capacity would prove insufficient. Europe's policy makers are arguing over changes of rules written last year that limit total available bailout funds to 500 billion EUR. The IMF has made additional aid contingent on Europe. The Finance ministers may make changes to the draft statement at their meeting today. According to a yesterday’s briefing, the European official said that the probably result is an anti crisis amount somewhere between 700 billion and 940 billion EUR. Assuming that the temporary fund expires in mid 2013 without making further liabilities, the permanent help maximum would drop back to 700 billion EUR, according to the draft. The ESM’s provisions allow the finance ministers to lift up or reduce its capital at any time. Discussion of the lending cap will coincide with a possible further accelerate of the capitalization of the permanent fund. The first of five planned annual payments will be made in July and the second one will follow in October. The remaining payments may also be speeded up with two in 2013 and a final one in the first half of 2014; this would be two years earlier than previously planned.

My Candid advice.... This shows your trading strategy has some flaws you need to get rid of.. Staying off market now will not make it better and coming back later with same style will only burn you.. I suggest you download a trading simulator and trade with it.. Probably with 2 years data.... That way you see PA and know how to deal with it LIVE.. Google it and also stop live trading till you master the market.

My concern about looking to take a short position is that the 58.53% of Oanda retail traders are already short. Using this as a contrarian indicator, the price action may be going long to squeeze out these shorts. I think that we have two potential senarios setting up here. The first is the head part of a Head & Shoulders and the second is a Bull Flag. For the Head & Shoulders, the neckline is down at 1.32900 which is a formidable support and resistance area. Neither pattern really has any conviction about them. In favor of going short is the fact that yesterday did not put in a higher high which could mean that the trend to the long side is running out of steam. The other thing is that yesterdays candle also made a lower low. It was also a Rickshaw Man Doji which is an indication of market indecision or possible confusion. In essence I am not convinced that technicals give any real assistance at present as the patterns can be interpreted to be both bullish and bearish patterns. From a fundamental point of view, I do think that the Euro has been heavily over bought. I can see the concerns about the USD with the risk of rampant inflation round the corner with potential QE3 and a failure to take prudent steps to tighten monetary policy. However the data coming out of the US is generally positive with the exception of housing data which remains weak. The problems in the US are really minuscule to the problems within the Eurozone. In my opinion if EUR/USD were to head towards parity that would help and possibly lead to a solution. I think it will head towards parity and the only question is when.
