The upward movement from 1.3147 was not fair and just a game move, if there were enough supports for the movement it would have reached 1.3420 till now. I assume a downward movement is very likely, but if it continues sticking the price between 1.3310 and 1.3370, Thursday collapse will be more probable.

That upward movement was not fair at all. But a downward movement would also not be fair. In fact every movement in forex in not fair,
especially when it moves against you.
So I agree, forex is a very unfair business.

By not fair I mean the movement produced a wide gap between nominal and real rate of currency which makes the fall more probable otherwise there must be extraordinary good news from EU which seems to be sort of a dream nowadays.

Arguments for bears, arguments for bulls. Some actually placing trades and some on the sidelines.

Im asking one question, lets pretend we didnt have access to any material whatsoever on fundamentals and all we had were the charts.

From just analysing the charts and nothing else, what conclusion would one draw about where the market is heading?

Excellent Question - And depending on whether you are scalper or position trader again makes all the difference, so lets keep it simple - Im going to ask everyone to step out side the box for a minute and look at a 3H chart.

Remember, we are in a Cocoon and have no access to information - all we have is a 3H chart. What is the chart saying to you? We could have picked any other timeframe, but we are thinking out side of the box for a second.

That's what I just got done doing. And now I came up with price going down to 1.3285 during London. And then coming up to 1.3391 during NY tomorrow. And all that I used was mathematics based on the charts. Go figure. Sunday night was so much easier than these last two nights.

Well guessing can make you look like a fool I guess, but just because I'm bored:

Down to 1.3275 then up to 1.3456 at the end of the week, but I won't be trading on that guess.

True. "Guessing" can make you look like a fool. Or 80 pips more in your account, like Monday, I guess. And yes, I agree, 1.34xx is coming this week. I just don't know when. And of course, if I did, then I could quit my day job, I guess. GL

I think the best trading strategy is to take everyone's guesswork, and then take the opposite trade to the majority. We all say north (I think), so it's probably heading south
