Leverage isn't dependent on a fixed-number it is dependent on your Riskmanagement. Over all you shouldn't risk more then 2% of your Account.
Also you have to get a good Risk-Reward ratio, this is the most important thing. Then you measure how much is the maximum loss you can suffer from your RR in Pips and then you should set your leverage (position size) according to the 2%.

Also there is no fixed "best RR-Ratio". Sometimes my SL ist 20 Pips, sometimes a lot more of course. It is important not to set the Stop Loss according to how much you are ready to loose, you have to set the SL to a position where you can be sure that your descision was wrong. Beacuse of that an optimal entry-point is also really important. The worse the entry-point, the worse the RR-ratio is.

for example if u have 10,000 account never trade more then 4 mini lots
and if 5000 account then not more then 2 mini lots and so on
and in every trade calculate risk and reward never trade less then 1:1 risk reward. 1:2 is good too and write a reason why u entered the trade the technical reason only not related to news or rumors ur trade must enterd and exited on technical grounds
and all these reason must be written on copy hard copy mean on paper not on computer so on every weekend u open ur copy or book and see what is wrong with ur trading and what is not

ur fisrt lesson as a new trader is just stop using leverage 1:1 is good for you until and unless u feel confident with ur trading just straight away quit using leverage by this u will play longer and play another day then another day and u will keep on playing this is the theme of this game just keep on playing!

Also, you have to know yourself and develop your own "style."

No matter what kind of technicals/fundamentals you try to use, if the style you're using doesn't fit your personality, it's going to be very hard for you to follow.

If your "style" fits your personality, then there's a better chance you'll be disciplined enough to follow through with your strategy.
Learn to see what's there, not what you want to see.

to me risk reward i count on is not on 1% or 2% when ever i find opportunity i entered the trade with 1:1 and then on every pull back i enter 1:1 and raising my SL to break even then the stop loss turns in stop profit

have u ppl ever head of "stop profit"

I either don't count the Risk-Reward ratio in %, no one does.
I try to not risk more then 2% of my whole account balance, so if I have
100 000$ in my account I won't risk more then 2000$. I also try to get a RR-ratio of 1:3 which is 6000$ with a risk of 2000$ of course it is not that easy to get such a RR

Now it depends on your Strategy what your lot-size (and leverage) will be. The important thing is, if your SL gets hit, you should not loose more 2000$

And of course you should bring your S/L up so you can't loose money. No money is better then loosing money...

Short @ 1.33143 16.16 lots
TP 32.213

and waiting for a better spot to increase my shorts!

maybe between 1.3330 and 1.3340 or 50...
