The matrix use old repainting trendline and in this chart is new nrp trendline that make also diference.
Believe me, I have made enough trades through the symphonie system on the 1hour timeframe to tell if the arrow matches the signal and I know it doesn't. I don't use the repainting trendline on my chart to backtest, I use the non repainting version and the arrow is much earlier. I'm not saying thats bad or good, just saying its not symphonie.

yelena.. do you only trade EU? I know you've probably stated it somewhere I'm just lazy to check. Also you said you take every signal on the 5m. (Arrow or symphony? I noticed usually when the arrow shows up the symphony matches). But do you always have a 50 pip sl on each trade going?

I couldn't imagine myself having 4 positions open each with a 50 pip stop only aiming for 10 pips per trade

Yelena trades several different currencies which is how she was getting such a large pip count. How she was trading it when she was getting the most pips, was looking at the direction of H1 -not waiting for a full symphonie signal - so looking at the arrow on H1 and rj's trendline, then taking full symphonie signals (via the signaller) on the 5min chart. She didn't watch the 5min at all because she thought there was too much noise and concentrated on the 1hr chart. She drew a fib and put her stop loss at the high or low and went for roughly 1:1.

I, for one, do not wish to see this thread degenerate into a 'lets try this indi', or 'here's a new indi to try' type forum. There are plenty of those here at FF as it is!!

I'm not saying that what you have done has no value, far from it. But lets see some testing data for not less than one month.

Pretty much everything you see here on this thread has stood the test of time, and was thoroughly tested by Eval before the thread was even started.

If you're going to introduce something like this, please provide not less than one months proof to show it's value.

I have no wish to be a guinea pig, neither should other members of this thread.

I was inspired from yelena stile of trading (Thank you yelena and evaluator) and wanted to contribute here. the arrow are not replacment for original symphonie but are more suited for yelena stile of trading (trade in 5min and watch the 1h PA)

Yelena has always taken a full symphonie signal on the 5min though, lots of us do that, but where I have a problem is that newer people will just trade the 5min arrow after seeing an arrow on the 1hr. That isn't symphonie, that is just an arrow which doesn't even match up to the 2 indicators you've referred to, there is also no mention of the other 2 indicators in the matrix. Thats my main concern.

if anyone is paying attention to the longer timeframes EU has been bullish for the last two months.. I've really only been looking for longs... and now it's about to print a weekly symphony signal

btw dont mind the dots I guess the mtf arrow indi doesnt work on the weekly TF

yup nowadays I'm always extra cautious before taking a position.. But gaining more confidence through symphony and MTF analysis.. I really put an emphasis on risk management though which is why I've been seeing more consistant results..

If I can do this week in and week out I'll be sailing in no time


also I try not to overcomplicate things... The more you think the more you stink. I've learned that first hand haha

2012 Account Statistics Report Week - 6.5
Trial ENDS - Big Game Begins

As I have done for the past 6 months, I have been posting and keeping a Special Thread Account to demonstrate the growth potential of the Symphonie Trader System. Please remember that I have only traded EURUSD duringEURO open and beginning US market times. I am sure by the numbers and statistics over these past 6 months have shown the power of Symphonie and its potential to help you grow your account in a consistant manner by just following the rules of the Symphonie Trader System.

However, after much soul searching, I have decided to end the trials because honestly it is becoming an interference taking up to much of my energies and valuable time. I have set for myself certain goals to be achieved in 2012 with my normal accounts. Because of these personal goals that I am trying to achieve in 2012; I have come to the conclusion that it is best for me to stop these trials and concentrate on my larger personal accounts.

My apologies to those that have been following these statistics but I believe that the past 6 months of data are more than enough to prove using the Symphonie Trade System one can achieve consistant trading success.

Lastly, please be assured that my dropping these trials in no way means that I will not continue to contribute nor will I stop my level of involvement in this thread. It is just means that my time and energies can be better spent versus this side line that has required alot of my time and energy to keep up and maintain. Therefore, this is the last Account Statistics Report
that I will post.

Here is some additional Statistical information that I was building as a database that may provide some useful analysis for those who have been asking about trading in different timeframes. Interesting stuff and since the trials ends, I thought it a good idea to pass this information on to all who were interested.

Remember, I traded strict Symphonie rules and only in those timeframes.

Eval,

I agree that 6 months is ample time to give everyone a good
feel for the results of the system. And we appreciate it!!!

I think your time could be better spent, trading your account,
helping traders, spending time with your family, taking a break
so you don't get burnt out. Making trading fun again!

To manage a system forum such as this must be a hugh job and
we appreciate all your help and time. But we don't want you to
get burnt out. We appreciate your great system which could be
very close to the "holy grail" even if other don't realize it yet!

So here is to you and the holy grail...A hugh THANK-YOU!!!

LOL...........

no no no.....I am running 5 different personal accounts in completly different areas of the market using Symphonie System. This trial account was honestly too small to keep up and maintain. But I did it anyway as demonstration of system functionality and growth potential.

Don't forget yelena that as far as I know, Eval uses the 30,5 trendline and that didn't signal at that time, it signalled a sell much later and the point of the 60-5 is to wait for the H1 to signal.

Also in the pip count you have just done, you would need to wait until the 6am candle closed, making it 7am so the 6.40 am trade wouldn't have happened, making it 30 pips if you took 10 on each if we are going to backtest this as accurately as possible, then it needs to be done properly.

You are most welcome and I am very pleased with the results and success of others using Symphonie. But do not write me off!! I am here for a long time and will be here to answer questions and contribute like so many others.

You are right about burn-out!!! After the trial #1 in 5 minute timeframe it almost killed me because I was trading almost 24h/5D. My wife hated it!!

Before I started this thread, I was only trading 3 days a week and only 09.00 to 18.00 Europe time. As I said, I have goals to meet this year and look to get back to those hours next year starting with a nice long 2012 Christmas vacation!

I agree 100%. Let us not turn this thread into an indikatorfest. Let us keep to the thread and if you have tangible proven results with screenshots then discuss but until then please test the indikators yourself before posting to the thread.

someone wished me that i find my weakness before i even get burnt... hmmm i need to do a revalida. thanks! the price of not thinking! (and thank you for your thoughtful wish, you know who you are.)

nevertheless, i point to people 50 since its what's posted in post#1. and 10 to show that any trader can profit from it easily without being greedy. apparently not a good suggestion - sowee.

but my SL is FE's SL not 50. and my TP is TP1 not 10-unless the market is ranging or has left me behind. pls. dont ask me how i draw the FE. just checck out #4224 fibo expansion settings
