i am holding 2 buy orders from 1.3177. i dnt know if i shld book them or let them run. my technical analysis tells me that this pair is going up, but i am scared. i am already up by 41 pips with s.l @ b.e. please advice me what shld i do?

Take it and Run. There is too much of distorsion on this pair recently and now it is realy forming a DT, I would go breakeven or take all.

Can anyone see this head and shoulders, albeit a rough one, but still the same, its there. And what about the Daily hammer shown nhere in chart 2. I am betting 2700 area soon.

I think that it is now correcting up a bit with 3 bullish cycles; ~ 7 hours, 1.3235. Then comes three more powerful bearish cycles; ~ 6 hours, 1.3165. Then a ~ 100 pip move to maybe 1.3285. Then further upwards.

Hey K, this one is 4 hr old, I can't help it but I fell asleep again.
But here is a little thing to ponder about.

You never use a 15 minute close to decide if a trend is going on.
In the big picture 15 minutes bars are nothing more than noise.
Good for scalping but that's about it.
For trend continuation you look at least at 1 hour bars or much more preferable the 4 hour bar.

Daily closed at 1.3222. The next posible trade plan would be to do a long in 1.3180/90 region with sl 1.3170 and targeting 1.3330.

Not exactly. You can tell a lot about where a pair is going by looking at where it closes. Earlier today, EUR/USD (15-min) closed at 1.3238. It failed to close higher and moved much lower. It came back and tried to retest the highs, but closed at 1.3238. Then, 3 hours later, it once again passed 1.3238 but failed to close above it (more specifically, it closed at 1.3238 like the other three times). This suggest that it needs further consolidation before moving higher.

If we managed to close above 1.3238 and the next bar did not close back below, then odds are we will be moving further.

I generally use the close instead of the high or low when determining whether a level is broken or not. This eliminated nearly all false breakouts and stop hunts.

Also, I use the 15-min to determine the likely hood of EUR/USD making a new move higher today. I look at the hourly, 3 hr and 4 hr charts for longer term moves. After all, it has to break short term resistance before breaking long term resistance.

you really dont get it? he did not say dont look at the closing candles he said dont look at themon 15 min as it is not a trend!
it is for daytraders and trend means longer term than this
even if you are a daytrader you should first check the main trend on 4 hour or daily chart and then dive into 5 or 15min and trande with the trend or the bounce or whatever

but only looking at the 15 min chart closing it really is just as he said: noise...

but of course, everybody is on his own here so do whatever you think fits for you the best

Obviously I do not know where this market is going, but the odds are, at least in my opinion, in the bulls favor (by a lot). It could go lower, but that is not very likely at all (once again, only in my opinion).
