I'm still watching pa around this area, it's finding some support now but the push is fairly hard. LO now so will sit out for 15 or so. Enjoy breakie!

Just back from school run( which can also be expensive!), glad I closed all positions earlier. Yes I agree 1hr bullish, but 15 min may give a valid short signal as well for a few pips- definately some sellers in the 70's

Did anybody take this pin on Eurusd? I did, as I didn't quite get my short setup on cable saw the pin on euro, but bailed too early at the 10 level ahead of the figure as my broker had only put on a quarter position- I'd forgot to check the size before entering. Doh!

Just thinking aloud here, but this is one pin that I'm not going to take. Reasons against- well we've made a higher low on the 15min, 1 hr is finding support off the 50ma's, and also (this isn't eo's method) but we had an unusually high volume spike on the inverted hangman three candles back caused by news. I don't pay much attention to VSA, but this caught my attention. Plus it's getting into a slower time of the day now. Thoughts anyone?

My thoughts are, I ignored that candle for exactly the reasons you stated (apart from the volume bit).

If anything, where it was, it was more an indication that it wants to go higher in my mind.

Glad we're in agreement, Trotty. It's useful to think these things through when we "screen" these trades. As far as VSA goes, I hardly ever look at it- it's just that that spike was so big it jumped out of the screen and slapped my face!

Yes, I see EJ, but I'd be careful as it turned back sharpish from the 75 level on the hourly. Strong sellers up there.

It did. I am in it though but just watching to see how it pans out. Would like a sharp move soon.

On GU, it was also a bullish close which is not so good and I don't really like pins in busy areas. Pins from significant areas where it's forming a new high/low for the recent action are the best.

I'm keeping out of trades at the moment- I've made more than enough pips for the day, and am not giving them back! Only taking really clear, solid setups for the rest of the day. Working on my discipline

Nothing wrong with that, we can't all trade like EO and most of us probably never will!

EJ trade was BE but I very nearly closed her out for about 1:0.8 as I could see she was going nowhere. Regrets, i've had a few.

I've also been stopped out on my EU trade from last week now which is a little annoying but overall, I shouldn't complain about that one.
