But my extremes change when I change the max bars settings, and I think yelena said in the past that her max bars are different from default, that's why I was asking. I have tried adding history to my charts using page up like you said till I get to october, but my extremes are still different then both of yours, and my broker is fxpro.

I wish someone who knows how to code could take a look at the extreme indicator, and fix it so it looks just like is does on yelena's chart for everyone lol.

I think im gonna stick with the pivot rule.. only longs above daily piv and shorts below..

not following it experienced my first two losses since two weeks ago =(

Thanks for doing that. I will take a look at it. It is possible that it is just a problem on my end, but I find it odd that the extreme indicator is the only one that gives me problems. All of the other Symphonie indicators match up exact to everyone else's who post charts on this forum.

yes, same trade and it seems that it will not stop running.

2 trades today. first stopped at BE and second runnninng with still 3.58%

so nice and clean.

next stop R2. hehe

Whenever there is a week 3 in the weekly indicator is when you see the extreme of color?

I've been massacred out there because I couldn't tell we were ranging Just seen that EU is finally making a move.

Can anyone help with a good strategy so that we can tell when we are ranging?

its about successfully exiting every entry you make.

that's why i like conservative targets, TP1 or 10 pips.
yeah I need to start setting tp10 when going counter trend... oh well now making up for my losses.

I am watching AU on H1, just waiting to see if matrix turns all blue. Arrow is present, PA above MA and stoch is looking good. R1 though could provide resistance for a continued move up.

Duh! Of course not. I just thought about what I just asked and it didn't make any sense. Sorry. I'll ask again.

I'm assuming its the high/low of today? As PA is fluid how do you know when you've reached the high/low?

i take this indicator which tell me the daily stats.
set which_window to 0 (zero) for the stats in the mainchart.

ranging depents also how volatile the currencies are. at the moment the volatility is low.
last year at about october or so there were days with ~200+ pip daily average range.

if we could know this in foresee we will be rich.

... but have a look where the symphonie signals appears. if it helps you could draw a fib at the last swing.

if a signal appears below 50% the chance to get a RR of 1:1 is not so high. and if a retrace has more then 50% then a chance to get more is higher.

but what is apparent is that the current hi-lo as you receive the signal is less than 60-80 pips so you will only target small profits too.

then use other currencies. i use 4. even if i only target for 5 or 10 pips, that's already equivalent to 20 to 40 pips. spread your risk.

correlated currencies doesnt mean they always have to travel in the same direction.take what the signals tell you, provided that they are...
