there's a degree of subjectivity with any analysis here, to say anything otherwise is a bit misleading... but given your level of experience (i've seen you posting here for a while)... even you must agree that patterns encapsulate price action which can be explained using supply/demand support/resistance etc... which are the fundamentals of the market

if what you are saying is correct then chart pattens are part of the language of the market... they allow us to identify certain behaviour... and to predict future behaviour.

If your argument is against the use of chart patterns then you may as well not use language, as language itself has an abstract connection with the essence of what it is connected to.

To give a simple example if i want to make you aware of something called milk... i can either pour milk over you so that you can get to the essence of it or i can simply say "milk"... which would you prefer?

I have an idea. Find a few traders that can make consistant profits on forums such as this one. Start a private HYIP pay the traders to trade opm(other people money) everybody gets paid and if trades go south there is protection from the private securities act...that would be cool. If you think about it you can get hundreds if not thousands of investors to send you thier money to trade for them and the total amount from other investors can quickly add up to hundred of thousands if not million. Can you imagine trading acount sizes that large. Just a thought.
