The minimum I will get here will be 42 pips on 2/3 and i'll be more than happy with that. I'm not being greedy but I have a TP 2 in mind to bank some more in a few pips time and then the final 3rd will just run until taken out, moving up with the swings.

There we have it, TP2 now banked at 112 pips. 1:4.6 just on that portion of it, let alone the remainder that is still on. I've never been any good at holding trades overnight or weekends but i've made so much on this trade already that I am going to do it with the last portion. There are 42 pips in there as a gaurantee which is about 1:7 overall so I have to let this run now and see where it can go. I was looking for it to go north today and go north it has so I should be true to the ethos of this thread and manage this one on the daily charts.

I'm going to keep an eye on those trades and see if I can make any sense of when they do and don't play out. I guess what I don't like about them is the way that it's kid of an observation more than it is a true trading setup. If I take a trade off a candle that fails to make a new low at a key area, it's a solid trading setup and has "sense" behind the trade. This doesn't have that same feeling about it, it's almost like exploiting a quirk of how price moves. I don't imagine that trading floors and hedge funds are full of fellas siting there and saying "right, lets go long now as we've spiked accross the 35/50 emas and closed without much wick", lol. I guess if you are closing before/at a key area then you have a much better reason to reverse on it.

I have something called "Punk IPA" sat in my fridge. It's a British beer and it's simply wonderful and can't wait to crack the first one open. Not long now.

I get that for sure! I have been thinking of that 35/50 trade as a shake out of weak traders. As long as price is going into a decent ppa zone the fast whip back the other way often happens. That said most of my trades are based of the h1 more than the m15, eo always said keep your plays focused on the big picture. Great trading guys!

put a short in on eu at 13180, nice area on m15 and halfway up the wick of the h1 doji. not looking for much as dont want to hold over the weekend.

Edit, now put a 10 pip target and moved my stop to -1 heading off for beer

Here's what I see......:nerd:

On the weekly the long term target is 1.3500, will we get there?

But it will sure be a BIATCH getting through there.

On the daily a break of the 100SMA and 38.2% get us back to 1.3330 - 1.3365 area.

Locked in some profit, seeing if this is the start of a trend.

If she retrace and doesn't hold my s/l zone of 1.3117 - 1.3133 then I bail.

Yellow line is the 200SMA on the 1HR.
