DislikedEval,
Thanks for posting the video by trimtabs. I thought
it was a very interesting video, I personally believe
the guy is right. (2012)
I remember after Regan was elected I put all my savings
into a stock mutual fund cause I thought the market was
going to take off (let the bull run...). We'll the market
went into the tank! (1980)
I believe after the elections, like Feb of 2013 all hell is going
to break out. No matter who gets elected. So I figure that we
have about 1 year to get our act together to really learn how

DislikedHi all.
I've included a new parameter in Symphonie_Matrix_Indikator _v1.6 for you to indicate whether or not you want to Symphonie_Extreme_Cycle_Indikator show alerts.
In version 1.6.1 appears alertsExtreme parameter with default value 3, indicating that there will be no alerts from Symphonie_Extreme_Cycle_Indikator.
For this new version works, I should correct a problem with alerts in Symphonie_Extreme_Cycle_Indikator, if you select to see only sell alerts, appears both "Top Cycle Detected" and "Bottom Cycle Detected". (You can test it...Ignored
DislikedHi,
Took a short here.
Didnt take the 2 previous signals because was out for lunch.Ignored
DislikedIn the Matrix 1.6.1 is there a way to set the alert so it 'pings' more than once?
For some reason with my MT4 the first alert sound whether for the built in price alert or the alert with the Matrix the first alert sound in very soft then any subsequent alert sounds are at the 'notmall' sound level.
I deally I could set the number of alert to a number 5 or 10 every few seconds.
I see the code for the alert function looks like where the routine:
[b] if (CalcOnNewBar)
{
if (AlarmOn)
{
if (((buf1_up[1]) && (buf2_up[1])...Ignored

DislikedIf you want it to Alert you more than once per bar just remove the function 'CalcOnNewBar'. But be warned, you will get a headache from the dinging...
The part (CalcOnNewBar) is a Bool, meaning True or False, and calls the function CalcOnNewBar and if it is returned as True it will continue with the Alert code. If false, meaning we are still on the same CANDLE, it won't spam you.
This will limit your alerts on a 5M chart to one alert every five minutes, or one alert per day on a daily chart.Ignored
QuoteDislikedAlert(Symbol() + " " + Period() + " - GoldCycle Matrix Bearish Alert"); won't change the amount of times you are alerted, Period() simply refers to the current period on the open chart. This whole line it just what generates the alert and what it says. E.G. "EURUSD 60 - GoldCycle Matrix Bearish Alert".
QuoteDislikedIf you are wanting something to definitely get your attention, then set up the email alerts and give it a certain ringtone for when you receive an email on your mobile phone.
Dislikedthis may work, I don't use a smart phone perhaps I can set up an email account for the IPad or my computer to ping me when an email is received....
Thanks very much this gives me something to work with to solve my issue and not miss trades.Ignored
DislikedI am pretty sure you would be able to set something up on your iPad and set it near your bed of a night time. I'm not sure about iOS(iPad) but for my phone, Android, I use the built in GMail app and I can set any ringtone I would like. I get most emails instantly.
iOS should definitely have something similar.Ignored
DislikedWhat do you use for the SMTP server for gmail and do you specify a port if MT4 broker wne enabling email alerts?Ignored
DislikedOk, it was a pain in the ass to set it up through GMail. So what I had to do was use my Service Providers email to send it to my GMail.
So basically MT4 makes my ISP Email email my GMail...Confusing but works great.Ignored
DislikedI really wonder that there any Traders out there that trade far more than 3-5 hours a day .
I have heard that the PRO'S mostly trade around 3-4 hours a day because of the high concentration level and the exhaustion that follow after the trade-session.
Any thoughts about this is appreciated.
ThanksIgnored
