Nice conversation and nice trading from your guys. I do agree that finding a system that "you" are comfortable with helps.

I guess the Aussie had a bounce and looks like the EUR could be heading that way at least until next week.

Watching momentum here, as I think Aussie may retrace a bit south if Eurusd cant break it's 70 level/1hr62ema

Wise words buddy and you are 100% right. I've done the same thing hundreds of times on the sim so when you see it in the live markets, all that fear releases and you just pull the proverbial trigger.

Wish I had a musical lilt. I have a guitar and know a few chords and can do a horrible version of "Tears in Heaven" but I never seem to focus on it properly. I guess some things we are born to do and others we aren't.

Yes I saw that hangman, but didn't take it because I had this trendline which the bottom of the hangman tested, after a breakout, but nice for a few pips- I like hangman trades, because you are usually green straight away.

i think the Aussie might have reached it's limit for the day- it's come a long way, and looks to be double topping on the 15min

Here are my thought processes why I bailed on the last half, so you don't just think I'm chicken!

Price had come a long way- I don't do average daily range, but I'm sure it must be pretty near it today. Eurusd had just broken the 62ema and resistance but was then quickly turning into a bearish hammer in the same 15min candle. Alarm bells time!

AUDUSD was forming a bearish engulfing at a double top, a valid short entry. Time to get out and reassess. If it goes up now and smashes through resistance, I won't throw my PC out of the window, because I reacted to what I saw, and protected my profits. There will be other trades, that will run.

3 pips off the ADR in actual fact!

I think you did the right thing in all honesty. It looks like a top for the day to me. You never do know but that's how it seems.

Hey guys,

Great to see some active trading and posting in here again. I have been a long time lurker and very occasional poster to the ff and this board. I'm still going back and re reading the tread all the time and am making a big effort to get things to click as they have done for you Trotty.

So I am now resolved to post here some screenshots and trades i have taken, lets see how it works out! happy trading

Edit, looks like a long on EU for me if we can push down to 305x
