Hey TAH,

Quick question where did you get the vsa histogram volume indicator ?

And do the candles colour themselves ?

If so which indicator do i need ?

July 2011 posting latest on this, but w/o TzPivots and w/o market vLines:

Next release will have it all, and it looks like everything will be fully automatic, too,....no special GMT or DST inputs or questions to ask broker.

Personally, if I wanted vLines and maybe TzPivots too, I'd use the following release of the Chart Panel/Clock Panel, with the PV indys from above:

EURUSD - Beware Longs

Shorted EURUSD at Daily R1 @ 1.3076

Hiya Mate,

Your GBPUSD is right for short, but your EURUSD long will not be, thats not a breakout, and remember the SM will false breakout for you, thinking oh its long then BANG ! they drop it and catch you.

The move is called the Upthrust !

Hiya,

No problem, see the bar is going to close in a minute and its closing half way down, meaning an upbar closing in the middle is a weak bar, the SM are selling into this bar like the previous one on EURUSD.

An U pthrust however has to close at the bottom, but i did notice that when the PA started coming down the volume rose which will happen when the SM get involved.

The volume is larger when the SM sell and the herd are buying this creates the volume.

I would expect PA to drop in the next few bars unless their the SM need to distribute more

Hi Andy..,

Just for curiosity sake, are you already in a short position on EU and GU?.., If not.., for how long would you wait before deciding to enter?

Hiya,

Im short from 1.3076 on the EURUSD.

Things are aligned, Volume dropping off as we go higher, meaning SM not interested in higher prices.

The upbars have good selling in them from the SM, as volume indicates this.

Daily resistance is there at 1.3076

What you will find is that these phases as Wyckoff calls them can last for a longer period of time than what people think.

But if your trading Sonic, obviously you wait for PA to slip into a 3 wave pattern and drop below the dragon.

But im here more for VSA thoughts than Sonic.

I know thats bad but just trying to help others as i know trading can be tough business

I do have trades on the GBPUSD already from higher up.

1.5723 area

Also longing Gold from 1646 area.

Price targets on EURUSD looking for 1.2995 first then see from there.

EU, GU and Market Comment:

Sonikers, EU PA has come to resemble a Bear Flag. The connotation is that "down" is impending. GU PA is very ragged but still has the upwards drift of a Bear Flag.

It almost seems that all week long the market has not been the least interested in moving the price, just in whipping the price (which is why GU PA is exceptionally ragged). If this is what is going on, then the market is preparing in a major way, for a major change in prices. Speculative, of course.

I agree, patience is the key, let the market come to you, never chase.

I believe we could be entering a new level on EURUSD, 1.20 to 1.30.

Due to the fact Spain seems to be coming into frame as the new Greece on steroids lol

If you read enough from Tom Williams etc, you know that is NOT called an UpThrust on E/U because it is still within the recent trading range, and not a recent swing high.

OK, this thread should still be focus mainly on SonicR, starting to lose what is SonicR happening here over the last 5-10 pages been posted.

Pls stay and post in SonicR if your chart is really more to do with SonicR.


Pls go to a VSA thread to post, and your post would be more appreciative there.
It does not matter if it is quieter there, once you post there, more posters will follow if your post is relevant to VSA.

If you READ , i was explaining to the guy about an UPTHRUST, i was not saying that it was an upthrust on the chart because it wasnt

Check that post in regards to SonicR, it details why VSA alone is not the best reason to trade. This system is not based solely on VSA, volume is use in conjunction with S&R, which is what makes this system works.

Also Tradeguider has crappy reviews online. Many (google it yourself) who bought into their system was duped by their marketing ploy, a very aggressive marketing ploy if i may add. Rather if Tradeguider is successful for you or not, remember, this is SonicR. Use volume to support entry or exit. It can be used with high probability, aka very selective entries (1-2x entries a week for me).
