Looks like some smart money buying in the 3051-67 range, I think we may get a bit of retrace to the 305x mark or it just explodes to the 3075ish area where we will see some resistance.

looks like some smart money selling in the 3051-67 range, i think we may get a bit of retrace to 310x or it just explodes to the 2975ish area where we will see some support

I don't pretend to be an expert on VSA and Wycliff's teachings, but correct me if I'm wrong, a high range, high volume close near low followed by a lower volume up bar closing near top indicates that the herd was selling like crazy and the smart money was buying it all up. If the smart money was selling, why would the next bar be up and close at the top? I'm hoping that the 2 times I read his book will pay off. But like I have said, we can all look at the chart and see why it should go one way or another, and as another here said, its all about playing the probabilities the best you can.

BTW- I am looking at 5m as I feel it gives me a better idea of the volume in the moment.

i was playing very small trade, not bad. on eu this time i have booked 1/2 for 20 pip no more be i can't afford that

In a "real" volume environment that would be correct, but Forex volume is based on tick data. It is a guess not the real thing.

Thats why some times it works some times not. Instead of relying in a "proxy" why not go with what is real, price?

correct and try to look 1min chart too i gives u better idea what going on when large seller sells 1000s of lot in bits and how they sell,
try to see in 1 min char not 5 min chart big bros know that scalper use 5 min to 10,15 min chart u cant see how they r selling in those time frames
concentrate on 4hr daily and weekly charts with 1 min chart for precision u too good luck

Price is definitely real. I understand the whole tick vs. actual volume and have read up on both sides of the argument. For me in my trading, I draw out my S/R lines and areas and use volume and that is it. Pretty much naked and as I get more experience and see how price reacts in combination with my "proxy" I will hopefully put the odds in my favor, just slightly.

Good Morning/Afternoon Fellow Traders….

Weak and wounded bulls came to attack this morning.
Round number 1.30000 was the magic trigger for them to activate.
Think bears won’t give up so easily and would like to attack 1.3000-1.2980 soon again.
Great entry point for them would be 1.30800 and 1.31000.
I prefer 1.31000, as it ideally covers 50%Fibo, round number 1.3100 and previous strong support/resistance lines.
First let's see what “unemployment” brings in 10minutes
So I am also preparing slowly to go SHORT maybe at around 1.3100 with my TARGET set up on 1.2980
Now am scalping LONG a little bit with small accounts, just to kill time ;-)

REJECTION:
Certainly, scenario is rejected if we go trading above 1.31200.

EURO has to get into deep shit before I can sell.. Last time I looked at my chart (30 mins or so ago) euro was still happy.. Besides if a PRO has to sell... Those currencies pulling EU up today will be watched Eg. NZDUSD,AUDUSD,

Trading is not based on beautiful charts but on cutting edge accuracy...no shorting EU today for me unless I see 100+ pips in opposite direction... IMPOSSIBLE
