Yeah i've been saying there's been bullish divergence on this ever since we didn't break 1.3000, at least on the H1.

But i could be wrong.

LoL Alec,

how'd you manage to do that?

there's still bullish divergence on the H1 btw, not that i'd actually trade it, but good to know if we do move higher

I have buy from 1.3480 and have kept adding to position, please tell if this will go up as I'm already down over 65% of my balance. I cannot sleep and very stressed.

Where is you're BE, If you've been adding positions on the way down your average price should be lower. I don't see 1.3480 anytime in the near future.

I've tried a strategy like that when I first started trading, I kept adding positions every 100 pips, it works great if you don't have a 500+ pip move against you. I made a lot of money until I got caught in a trade that was down a couple hundred pips and NFP came along and moved it another 500+ pips against me and blew my account. Now I only trade single positions with set stop and TP that doesn't risk my entire account.

Bullish Divergence on A/D since 11am USA EDT

Usually that's what the big boys do...
they'll let a price keep coming down to a certain level, then buy at that level, but will stop buying whenever they feel the price will come up, then start buying again. And then the big move happens when they're done playing their game and the price will skyrocket.

But that's just usually what i've observed. I don't know if that's the case with this. So i could be wrong.

I almost never go long. I always wait for the "right" moment to sell. But now, I got really angry after a few days of waiting. So I went long .... very long.

If there's one lesson you'll learn from this, then it's "Never add to a losing position." (unless you are experienced enough to know what you are doing)

The price seems to want to take out 1.3 even though there is low liquidity. There are must be heaps of sell stops below 1.2975... which means that the price could drop quite drastically and wipe you out.

It may be difficult to do psychologically but you may have to seriously consider closing your positions before you get a margin call.

The most important thing you'll ever learn.. and it'll probably be after you;ve had lots of pain through losing positions and margin calls is money management. My advice... before you start trading is to really get your head around money management and how your maximum risk on any trade should be very small... with a stop loss and some idea as to where the price is heading i.e. your target.
