Anyone use these Fisher transform divergences? I like how they produce sharp peaks/troughs. I find there is almost always two or more 1999 period Fisher transform peaks/troughs before a downtrend or uptrend is over. This is on the 2M.

Usually there is a divergence where the blue FT does not go below the -6 line but where price is lower that marks the beginning of a new upmove.

price action defying a momentum indicator is not a bad strat. never heard of this indicator...interesting.
Here's the divergence in the recent upmove to 1.3290 on the 2M.

The solid grey lines are the +/- 6 level, while the dotted lines are the +/- 3 level. One waits for it to cross the +/- 6 level as the setup, then starts shorting it here when price is higher but it is only above the 3 level.

As you may agree?, when in a downtrend and price has moved sideways this long, it is usually a sign of a further downmove to whatever extent.

no you're good, the only thing i'd add is to set the alarm for when you're about +20 or so to lock it up in BE.

naw man i havent been around...

this thing is gonna colsolidate in a range above 3030 and below 3100 for the next day or 2... gotta chop up the guys trapped long.... wear em out, beat em up.... then we may have a move north....for a couple days anyhow..

im watching 3072 to be pivotal...

had some shorts from up at 3260ish on friday... closed em out before NFPs for a good profit( plus i was tired and didnt wanna wake up for that crap)... in hindsight... stupid decision...lol

You will find that the comment on 10% a month was a reponse to killerwhale saying that you cant make any money with low leverage, all i did was to respond to his post. Yes everyone is different have different goals and trade differently. All i posted was what i think was the most important 2 thing of my trading and then got slated for being trading for +10years. Not here to pick fights but if someone starts then i'll will fight my corner as i think most successful trades would. As Killerwhale posts are concerned on fundies im sure they are very usefully to some but not others as YOU said everyones different.
