Symphonie Trader System

didn't trade today.. I'm getting really sick with flu like symptoms..

Hopefully I'll feel a little better next week so I can kick some butt

Something I never understood is why traders must show off their results on forum? It is actually discouraging to many. Isn't the satisfaction of making money enough? Just a thought...

Does my posting of the Account Thread Statistics bother you? If it does then you have my apologies.

I do not post these reports for my ego. I post my results to prove that one can take a small account of $3000 and through application of the Symphonie Trade System with is indikators, strategy, money management, and ARS one can make good returns using this System. I consider these Thread accounts to be a lab for one to follow and discover the successes and problems encountered on a weekly basis.

If I wanted to show off then I would never restart them over a $3000.00 and then I could just crow about how big the balance has become. I think it is important to show the constancy of the Symphonie System and show how one can grow a small account into a big one by simply following the signals and the rules as defined.

If you look closely you will see that I also have troubles and the account has bad trades and good trades and the account balance graph demonstrates that. I consider myself an average trader at best. I get hung up on things like everyone else. I get tired, have to go to the bathroom, have meetings, and other activities and I am not at my desk 24 hours day. (did that once at beginning of this thread and hated it!)

By my posting of this weekly statistic I am trying to demonstrate the working of the system and provide people with insight on how a flawed trader like myself can take and use the Symphonie System to make consistant trade success. This is not a get rich in one trade and the trades will be right all the time system.

It was never designed to be and never will be. Symphonie was designed to be a pattern following system to keep one out of the whipsaws and in with the trends of market movements by identifing the tops and bottoms and telling you that now is the time to enter because momentum and sentiment have caught up with the extreme and the trend is changes.

So, if my posts of Statistics bothers you please accept my apologies. I do so to provide instruction and not ego stroking or boasting of my account success. Follow Symphonie as designed and I firmly believe (and I think proved) that it can provide one with consistant trade success.

I surely do not mind you posting your results as the creator of this! I simply do not have enough time to always scroll through dozens of posts where people just post their results, instead of us working diligently in making the system better.

The system is fine just how it is.. if it gives us an EDGE that's all we need.

Us as traders must take advantage of the EDGE.. if you fail to do so then you're not using it correctly.

in order to be a proffessional it takes at least 10,000 hours of practice in your field to be considered one. Although symphonie might cut down that number since I think it's a dynamic learning system. We still need to get some hours in following the indicators and how price moves with each signal

Btw.. I only like trading during london/us because that's when the big market players are active.. I found that the asian session often "produces" good signals but they rarely ever come to fruition

Vielen dank! Aber, I do find it important that people post their results for several reasons.

First it is confirmation that they are understanding the Symphonie System are successful in utilization of its parts.

Second, it demonstrates to others that consistant trade success is possible using Symphonie and keeps other encouraged to keep at it because one day you also can be a consistant winning trader.

Three, it also helps me to understand how people are thinking and using the system and shows me and others what methods or variations work and which do not. It becomes a learning adventure were others have discovered this Symphonie variation that made me 100 pips today or by adding on this indikator to Symphonie it helps me make 50 pips today because it did X...and so on and so on....

Forth, it provides one with the opportunity to be recognized and helps to encourage the poster to keep it up because they are being successful.

So, I personally find these posts inspiring because it helps me to better understand how people are finding successes and how people are finding failures. That is important because we can all learn from these shared experiences.

Just my 2c...

For sure this system-as all systems- is not perfect.
But I know it works!
So, speaking for myself only, I prefer instead of jumping around all sites and forums, searching for the holy grail, adding one indicator after the other, etc,
to study the system as much as I can.
One can say:
"What to study? See when all dots align, check a higher TF for verification and jump in!"
If 100 people do exactly that, are they going to produce same results?
Of course not! There are going to be huge differences!
So I try to understand and implement several things that will help my progress.
When I read that Yelena or Olivia can make 500-1000 pips by this system AS IS, I am not discouraged as you mentioned but I have a benchmark to reach.
So I really appreciate and like reading about their results!

One last thing.
My trading experience is limited but I have a big experience in martial arts (karate). When I earned my first black belt-more than 10 years ago- I was able to perform-demonstate more than 20 katas at a relatively high level.
Once, Sensei Yamashita -9 DAN!- visited us and said:
You do not need all these kata to excel!
Just pick one, anyone you like and study it. Again and again and again.
You will be amazed to see that there are so many things you can learn within just a few "simple" moves...

I cant believe it, I spent the better part of the week reading this whole thread from the beginning, finally finished it...... Albeit, my effort in reading the whole thread pales in comparison to those who built it into what it is now, amazing effort to all involved.....

This being my first post on this forum also makes me a noobs noob, gotta start somewhere.... That being said, I have read other system threads here on this forum but this one is the only one that has captivated me enough to actually make it to the end....

While reading this thread, I was following along demo trading and installing most of the updates as theycame along, so I am now up to signaler 1.9 beta..While getting used to the system I pretty much lost a quarter of my demo account, but the good thing is, by the time I finished the thread my account is back up to even if not slightly ahead......

Looking forward to see what happens next, possibly even getting off my butt and posting charts and thoughts.....

Anyhow enough of that, thanks for the amazing thread guys, you all rock......

were all this trades using symphonie 1.9 ? because I only got one signal on eurusd and it did reach TP almost TP2, I guess I got luck due to the news, my first trade with symphonie and I did 100 pips

Just a quick question Yelena, does your broker guarantee your stops over the weekend? Some do and some don't, and I would hate for there to be a huge gap the wrong way over the weekend and you get far more than a small loss.

If you are talking about the 1hr timeframe, EU did reach TP 2 as yelena wrote.

No, I was talking about my entry that I have posted on post 8228 , it still didnt reach my TP2 but I did enter on H1 and not on M5 as yelena, so my TP are larger

The reason I ask yelena to upload a screenshot of one of her entries is because I want to analyse one on the moment of the entry, to see if I am understanding properly the way she trades
