Guys, I'm not a tech genius, and I'm not Carl, but why do you insist on keeping the old version? Don't you think it can cause some problems?

Keeping the old version does not harm.
But since you thought it could harm, I deleted it and restarted the platform.
It did not help.
Still version 17 does only blanks.

copied those indicators which I need for TMA extreme system.
There I kept version 16 (which works perfectly)
and now I attached version 17 to a chart .....
and guess what ?

After 3 seconds version 17 displayed a few pairs .... and some seconds later
it had all fields filled.

So my guess is that version 17 does work when there are not too many indicators and EAs and scripts in the mt4-platform.
At least it does here now, but not on the old (fat) mt4-platform where I have dozens of other indicators from numerous other strategies.

I hope this will help those who have the same problem with version 17.

That's good to know!

I think it is a good habit to keep only the indicators that you really need. Right now I have only about 20 custom indicators in my "Indicators" folder, and I know guys who have ten times more!

A fresh new MT4 sorted out all my problems too.

I had to re-initialize the indicator 3 times before MT4 downloaded all the required data, 3 meg worth.

It worked fine for me...

Both AU long and EURAUD short 35+ in profit. Both textbook entries and worry free trades. Can't thank Al, Carl and all contributors enough.

Blank cells, divide by zero errors... they all mean that MT4 has not loaded all the required data yet.

And again I say MT4 doesn't respond well, and sometimes stalls, when it needs a lot of data.

If you get blank cells, just go into the inputs, change the symbols and click ok and close it and it works. I always had that problem until I found the solution.

Disclosure - I am a novice with this method.

During my testing and also live trading with my own account, I´ve noticed I have much better results the steeper the Slope indi slopes in my favor. Also, once you are in a trade, keep an eye on the slope indi. When you see it start to lose the slope and slowly level off, get your finger on the trigger and get ready to exit at first sight of HA color change.

You should be shorting it now as it bounced off WeeklyR above fib pivot R3

I also exited based on R1 becoming support and in M5 price has reached opposite band. Good clean trade.

Have not looked at this method using the long term charts. I bet it works just fine. Have you been trading it using the weekly's?
