That's an excellent plan Favorite. I like the idea of trading the 5m if 15m is ranging and if 15m is trending go down to the 1m and trade only in trend direction. That way you can catch trending and ranging markets.

I'm not taking the trade from the 15 min chart. The 15 min chart just dictates what trades I can take on the 5 min chart. The 5 min chart does not have S/R requirements.

My Tma normalized scalping indicator on 5M chart has stopped reading the 15M slope - this happen to anyone else?

Hi folks !

I was very astonished,when Al opened this thread because it represents
nearly the same approach I'm using for some time now.
For me I use the TMA as a confirmation to step into trades near major
support and resistance zones.
I use the daily and 4h chart in combination with the 15min one.
To use this trading style successfully you have to take into account
support and resistance and the major daily news events.
Sam Seiden on www.fxstreet.com is the guy who knows a lot about
trading support and resistance !
Nevertheless if used wisely I can't remember a better method....

I just see a confusing mess, so am not trading.

But perhaps later some clever people will post charts of what they did and that will help see what i should have done.

Hey Rebelheart,

Its NFP day and a friday....Most "expert" scalping traders may be more enticed to stay on the sidelines for clearer weather.

I'm just watching and waiting. I think Al is on the sidelines too, maybe in his kitchen enjoying some fine wines and a selection of nice cheeses, waiting for the market to gather steam again

This is not part of AL's system but it will help if you want to get more pips from this system and it helps also to confirm direction of market. It doesn't work 100% of the time by the way as when the market is in a small range for the whole day i.e less than 80 pips there is no telling where it will go

not with tma i'm finding the tma entry is'nt clear enough i feel the inexperienced will struggle with this and should look for added s&r areas for entry with clear stops or accounts will burn.
