If it stays this way, 1.3150/60 area is the next target

Iceland forgets eurozone, considers joining loonie-zone

In brief remarks to be delivered Saturday in Reykjavik, Canadian ambassador Alan Bones will tell Icelanders that if they truly want the Canadian dollar, Canada is ready to talk.


A group of prominent Icelandic business leaders approached Mr. Bones last year about the idea. And his speech Saturday, to a meeting of the opposition Progressive Party, marks Canada’s first public response.


In a recent Gallup poll, seven out of 10 Icelanders said they would happily dump their volatile and fragile krona for another currency. And their favoured alternative is the Canadian dollar, easily outscoring the U.S. dollar, the euro and the Norwegian krona.


The official plan is to join the European Union and eventually the euro but it may take too long and no one want to hop on a sinking ship.

Remember guys, statistically market reaction after strong movement on friday is retrace at monday. Price is going to climb up to 1.33'ish before trend continues down.

There is an opportunity for some intraday scalping among your spot trades.

Also today price should climb up a little, when others close their positions for weekend and others hedge them.

Price will open a little lower along the trend and continue some 20 pips and then at beginning of London session it is taking retrace.

Just a statistics, which are not necessary valid, but by my experience, it should go like this.

Have good weekend, all of you. I'll let my humble robot-servants to take over trading for now and I'll grab couple of beers and watch some ready laughed sit-com before good night sleep.

According to the CFTC commitments of traders report, traders are 23% less short of EUR/USD than they were the week before, as of the close of business last Tuesday. On Tuesday we closed at 1.3468…

A bit more room on the downside now as the trade is clearly less crowded…

Normally I would agree with you on this but I feel that this time will be an exception. London is not going to be bullish on the Euro. Even if they are, it will not be for very far up the chart... maybe 3250

Of course I may be completely wrong on this one but the odds are in my favor.
