Forgive my ignorance, what's a double no-touch (I know what it means as it relates to my mistress and wife, but not to Forex).

Investopedia explains 'Double No-Touch Option'
This type of option is useful for a trader who believes that the price of an underlying asset will remain range-bound over a certain period of time. Double no-touch options are growing in popularity among traders in the forex markets.

For example, assume that the current USD/EUR rate is 1.20 and the trader believes that this rate will not change dramatically over the next 14 days. The trader could use a double no-touch option with barriers at 1.19 and 1.21 to capitalize on this outlook. In this case, the trader stands to make a profit if the rate fails to move beyond either of the two barriers.

If by 10:00 AM EST EUR/USD does NOT TOUCH 1.3500 OR 1.3200 then the Better wins ONE BILLION DOLLARS.... The amount is unknown except to the two betters and others. So the party that does not want to lose buys Euro's and the one who wants to win, sells Euro's.

That is the simple explanation just like the mistress and wife comment.

At 1.3217 based on the fact that we've not posted a candle close below 3211 in the last 2 hours and the M15, M30, H1 and H4 charts all seem over sold to me. Stop at 3203 tp at 3240/50

Mid-Day Report: European Majors Tumble Broadly as Spain Revised Deficit Target

European majors are soldoff sharply today, along with European stocks, as Spanish prim minister Rajoy said that the country will base its 2012 budget on a deficit target of 5.8% of GDP. That's clearly much less ambitious than the official EU agreed target of 4.4%. Euro, Sterling and Swiss Franc fall sharply even though the fiscal accord was finally signed by 25 EU member states. Commodity currencies, though, are relatively steady as supported by buying against European majors in crosses. Dollar index is back above 79 level and is trading at 79.31 at the time of writing.

The fiscal accord was finally signed by 25 member states at the EU summit today. Only UK and the Czech Republic opted out of the pact as we know. European Council President Herman Van Rompuy is optimistic that the fiscal agreement will have a "deep and long-lasting" impact on policies. Van Rompuy emphasized that "this stronger self-constraint by each and every one of you as regards debts and deficits is important in itself. It helps prevent a repetition of the sovereign debt crisis," and "the restoration of confidence in the future of the Eurozone will lead to economic growth and jobs. This is our ultimate objective." Next, the fiscal accord should be ratified by signatory countries' parliament.

Accord to ECB data, overnight deposits jumped to a record high of EUR 776.9b on Thursday, a day after ECB's second three-year LTRO allocation. That's a sharp increase from Wednesday's EUR 475.2b. Regarding the LTRO, ECB President Draghi said yesterday that the bank is “reasonably satisfied” by the update and participation. On Wednesday, ECB said 800 banks tapped EUR 529.5b of three year loans from the central bank at 1% interest rate.

In the last few days budget woes have move their way from the southern periphery to the northern core, The Netherlands finds itself in a budget crunch, a chilling warning to those who assume there will always be a strong northern core that can afford to bailout the profligate south. That assumption is now being called into question.

There will be more than a little schadenfreude among those on the receiving end of Dutch fiscal lectures in recent months, you can be sure.

Grrr... Glad this was a small order. However, USDX hit 79.400 (as I got stopped out) and now pulling back. 3200 even might have been a better stop
