The drop started at 10:00 AM when Bernake started talking. Firms like IFR markets and others went long at 1.3400 earlier today ? Do not ask me why ?

So now they and others are getting stopped out. The Dow is down. The problems in Greece are not settled. The facts show EUR/USD heading down regardless what charts might say. It is about REALITY and Money Flow !!!

Anybody listening to Benny will discover
a) inflation will likely remain muted (ie USD will stay strong and commodities will stay weak)
b) employment gains are about all used up
c) the US government spending policies are not sustainable

All risk off items stated strongly.

Hourly and 4 Hour chart below 1.3387 and could indicate it's time to pull out the hammer. We need those two time frames to post confirmation candle below 1.3387 for confirmation. If we get it, next stop is at least 1.3285 as first stop.

Long term is a relative term... nine months is actually short term. However that is the trend time frame I am referring to. the up trend for the last three weeks is still a correction of the trend for the last 9 months

Not too sure about that.
I will short if:

1. we reach 1.3530/50 area
2. We break and hold below 1.33 and get a trend change confirmation.

Till then, I'm sidelined.

No hammer for now.

I short gold yesterday at 1789.5 and today when price was at 1778 I set trailing stop at 1785 the next 3 candles took my stop and then the 4th candle we all know were it went(south) almost 100points
Then today I short the sucker (eu) at 1.3462 by looking H4 candle same story again price went to 1.3422 so I set my stop at BE but the last candle before going south took my stop
-45 pips in N/U

That sucks. I also initially got stopped out on that upward pop but too another short as it was going down so over all up today. I have 1.3387 as crutial turning point on 1 hour and 4 hour chart. So it we drop further (below 1.3340) I will add to my short.

Nice , did you close that short?
I set stop sell at 1.3420 but then cancelled it and went with my out with my friend and when came back and saw all this I was like WTF but still its fine
I am long but if price breaks 1.332 then may be I will go short...
