I like the opens and closes for trend lines although i will mark the extreme too, just in case.

When it gets inside the two, its time to start probing for an entry.

The extremes usually come from other "big money" traders watching same charts using tech analysis looking to bust stops knowing the little guys likely will be in that neighborhood with their stops so not so accurate as open/close for accurate market price info
In simpleton mode, this is what I see.

Of course that channel isn't made of steel..

I agree with you, attached I have the monthly chart which is due to a rejection to downside...keep in mind, a rejection in monthly means hundreds of pips in intraday, and a 300 pips move in monthly also means a 300 pips move in 5 min charts; there is a big misconception that you need to wait for months if you use the monthly charts

Agreed. We do have an up channel there.

I like trading for the big swing where possible.

Learn as I go, applying classic technical analysis, reading others forum post here which has led me to many a good new insight and sharing my thoughts as well.
