It's the OANDA version (build 409) and I'm running Windows 7. Everything works okay, i.e. I don't have permission issues, except the charts fail to update after a few seconds.

i had also similiar problem earlier with fxpro old version, no proper price inflow anymore. but when i changed the history and max bars down it helped.
take a look under tools, options, charts and change the history bars to 10000 and max bars to 5000 restart and take a look if it helps.

remember i always employ price action? if you havent exited yet, check the EU and AU 1700 GMT+2 H1 bars (currect bar less than 18mins left), if they close as long tails or pin bars, you should be out. or 86.94 your SL price should hit then you should exit.

but then again, I have not seen AJ not hit its TP1 which is 86.28 (see attachment). if the AJ 1700 GMT+2 H1 bar closes as a bearish pin bar, then you can keep your position. place SL and TP1 orders, close your terminal and sleep.

AJ sell 10pips
daily running 20 pips - end of day
weekly running 20 pips


yelena:
AJ buy TP1 hit 13pips
AJ sell 86.48 exit at 86.53 or close of bar (price action exit, bullish pin bar) -10pips

may i ask why are you taken the 'Yelena' EU Short? it is not in confirm with H1. In H1 the last Signal 1.7 was a BUY yesterday 14:00 GMT and did not switched to SELL until now.

Not many trades today so going to bed. Total today 30 + 5 -7 +40 = 68.. See chart below, the red line was a loss of -7 pips.

Week running so far 184 + 68 = 252 pips

even earlier on i have been contemplating on using PA (price action) its a ranging market, i have to optimize. i trade with what i see. not what i think is going to happen.

in a ranging market, very seldom will H1 beep. ill take what i can (bad attitude of a noob).

ok. so i think the contrary about it. it beep seldom in trending markets and very often in ranging market. if i really want to respect the rule of higher TF Trend, then this SHORT would not count into trading history, but the LONG i missed ( double damn) would had been a nice textbook trade.

yes, i also trade what i see and what i see is an intact uptrend until it will break the LOW @ 1.3363.

now i understand why beeps so often in a trend because of the autorefresh thingy and then you get a signal every 5m/1h bar.
does this happen without autorefresher too?

yes, trend : a lot of beeps
range: quiet H1 and alternating M5 signals.

if you remove the autorefresh, then your signaler will only pick up history and not the repaints. you will miss signals. for better performance you can reduce bars in history and bars in chart to 6000 (no less)

post 1 says, you must refresh at the close of bar to check if your signal is valid. signaler does that for you that's why its so efficient, aside from informing you whether we are ranging or trending. i love signaler

yes because the autorefresh switch from your timeframe to W1 at every new bars. It means an alert if all condition are met.

I'm struggling with this to avoid that annoying thing on the signaler v1.9.
As I added an option to trigger on 2 timeframes (example H1+M5) you will have less signals (but quality ones) so less beeps.

BTW : Currently have an H1+M5 signal with V1.9 on e/u at 1.34551 but won't take it at that time. I have a pending short at .3500

V1.7 check current bar (bar 0).
In V1.9 you have a param to force checking the bar before (the previous on your screen) similar to a candle close to avoid excessive repaints.
I'm testing it before release.

Edit : If I took that trade, it's now +9 pips =)
